Taken in Perugia in 2009. I was invited to a very swanky supper party and the rather eccentric hostess asked ME to peel the sprouts! Being Italian she did not know what to do with them - so I made a delicious mix of sprouts, pancetta and chestnuts which went down a storm with the other guests.

My friend and I went on a trip to Erice (Sicily) and, as the weather at the foot of the Mount was sunny, we were excited about going up to take some colourful pics.
