Property Description
Lovely villa with a private swimming pool, restructured from the remains of a monastery dating back to the year 1000. The villa which is near the town of Anghiari, boasts large outdoor areas furnished with chairs, tables, deck chairs and hammocks.
The property is made up of 3 units, (the main farmhouse, the original small church dating from the year 400 which contains 2 suites and an independent unit) which are surrounded by 1 hectare of garden and 5 hectares of woodland.
The owner (a very friendly person) lives in an independent annex on the property and is at hand to help with the organisation of any extra services such as breakfasts, lunches and dinners, wine tasting sessions, cookery classes, aperitifs, airport transfers, mini-bus rentals, guided tours etc.
Guests can also benefit from:
- A “wood cabin” immersed among olive trees, near the swimming pool and furnished with cushions and rugs
- A “covered veranda” furnished with nearby sofas
- An "open veranda” in the rose section of the garden with direct access to the kitchen
- The “geranium terrace” on the second floor of the villa
- Swimming pool reserved for exclusive use of guests located roughly 50m from the farmhouse in the most sunlit area of the property, rich with flowers. The pool is 12x6m in size with a constant depth of 1.5m throughout, it is lit from within as well as by surrounding lights, access to the water is by a ladder.

Interior Description
THE VILLA
Ground floor: large lounge with small fireplace dating back to the 600’s, piano, sofas, tables and chairs, small living room with armchair, kitchen (6 ringed hob, large oven, 2 large fridges, table for food preparation, 2 sinks and professional dishwasher) joined to the outside with patio doors.
The outdoor area is furnished with tables and chairs and here there is also a bathroom containing a shower and a laundry room with a washing machine, dryer and everything needed for airing and ironing laundry.
There is one bathroom serving the kitchen and first floor and opposite this there is a large furnace
First floor (can be directly accessed from outside): double bedroom with private bathroom with bathtub, 2 double bedrooms each with a private bathroom with shower.
Second floor: Double bedroom with queen-sized bed with private bathroom with shower.
LA CAPRIATA
Annex studio located roughly 30m from the main house.
Ground floor: entry into double bedroom of this small unit which is equipped with two bathrooms – one of which is wheelchair friendly and the other contains a hydro massage shower.
There is also a small built-in kitchenette within storage presses.
Outside there is a garden complete with a small table and chairs for up to 3 people.
LA CHIESETTA
The Chiesetta has been restructured from the remains of what was originally a small church, previously it had also been transformed into a drying house for tobacco.
Ground floor: bedroom with double bed and single bed and private bathroom with shower.
First floor: double bedroom with private bathroom with shower. This room has a built-in kitchenette (with a fridge) within storage presses.
