Agriturismo Vista Sole is part of a family-run farm located on a high, panoramic hill in the green Val di Pierle, about 20 km from Cortona and on the border between the two regions of Tuscany and Umbria.
It will be your ideal starting point for excursions to Lake Trasimeno, Perugia and the major art cities of Umbria, and to the towns of the Valdichiana, such as Cortona, Castiglion Fiorentino, Lucignano, Monte San Savino. The characteristic villages of Mercatale and Lisciano Niccone, with shops, supermarkets and restaurants, are only 5 km away.
From the large outdoor area around the house you can enjoy the view of the small Church of San Donnino as well as the lush woods and olive groves. The panoramic swimming pool with hydromassage (size 14x5 m, depth 1.50 m), which will be for your exclusive use, will be a refuge during the hot summer days and a fantastic location for a sunset aperitif by the pool.
Another highlight of the farmhouse is the comfortable wooden portico at the front of the building. Furnished with tables and chairs and equipped with a large barbecue where you can grill the famous "Chianina" meat accompanied by a good Tuscan red wine.
If you are fond of fishing, there is also a small fishing lake on the farm, about 1 km from the house, where you can fish for trout, perch and bream. The owner, who is always very helpful and lives in the house next door with his family, will be more than happy to accompany you and give you any advice you may require on restaurants or places of interest in the surrounding area to visit.
The furnishings are simple but functional, reminding you of the ancient peasant origins of the farmhouse.

I really loved this property. Pool area was well furnished and maintained daily throughout the stay. bedrooms were very comfortable. The owner was very kind and generous. they even offered fresh veggies from the garden. I really appreciated their behavior. Some trails nearby were very beautiful, what a pity there were mosquitos during first week of august
