Conveniently located , Italy in the tourist area "Casentino Valley" and only 53 km (33 mi) from Arezzo. Villa Renaccio is a nice stone building (150 sq m) with WiFi internet and private pool. The property can sleep up to 12 people comfortably in five bedrooms with two bathrooms.
The property is divided into two apartments (one on the ground floor and the other on the first floor).
Each apartment has its own entrance and outdoor area equipped with garden furniture and barbecue. The two apartments are not internally connected.
The property is completely fenced and dog-proof.

Upon arrival you’ll find a beautiful clean well-maintained property with views of the mountains and the hills perfect for a splendid vacation in Tuscany. Wij hebben met twee gezinnen een week doorgebracht op deze prachtige plek. Het huis is met zorg gerenoveerd en met smaak ingericht. Het huis is echt af en alles werkt. Alle ramen hebben horren en luiken. Voor ons was het de perfecte plek. Er is meer dan genoeg ruimte om zowel samen te ontspannen en tijd door te brengen. Maar er zijn ook meerdere plekken om je te kunnen afzonderen. We vonden het erg fijn dat beide huizen een eigen buitenruimte hadden. We hebben genoten van het zwembad en het uitzicht is magisch. We hebben een avond gebruik maakt van de pizza oven, dit was voor groot en klein een feest. Ook het contact met de huiseigenaren Maria en Leonardo is buitengewoon prettig. Ze zijn makkelijk bereikbaar en ze altijd bereid om te helpen met antwoorden en tips. Een plek waar onze kinderen en tieners graag heen gingen was op 7 minuten rijden. Een rivier waar je heerlijk kunt zwemmen en waar je van de rotsen af in het water kunt springen. Maria zal je zeker vertellen waar je dit kunt vinden. Het is goed om te weten dat er geen airco is in het huis. Dit is geen probleem. Maar wij zaten in een hele hete week en dan is het bovenste huis wel wat warm. Kortom, een vakantie om nooit te vergeten en een plek om zeker nog eens naar terug te keren. Maria en Leonardo, ontzettend bedankt dat we in jullie prachtige huis mochten verblijven!
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We spent a week at this beautiful place with two families. The house has been carefully renovated and tastefully decorated. It's truly finished, and everything works. All windows have mosquito screens and shutters. For us, it was the perfect place. There's more than enough space to relax and spend time together, but there are also several places to seclude yourself. We really appreciated that both houses had their own outdoor space. We enjoyed the pool, and the view is magical. We even used the pizza oven one evening, which was a treat for everyone, young and old. Contact with the homeowners, Maria and Leonardo, was also exceptionally pleasant. They were easily accessible and always willing to help with answers and tips. One place our children and teenagers loved was a seven-minute drive away: a river where you can swim and jump off the rocks into the water. Maria will definitely tell you where to find it. It's good to know that there's no air conditioning in the house, but that's not a problem. But we had a very hot week, and the upper house was a bit warm. In short, a vacation we'll never forget and a place we'll definitely return to. Beautiful location and great accommodation. We were a big family of 8 adults, 6 children and 1 infant, and we easily fit in the rooms provided. Everything was great, everyone was very happy with it.
Do not expect a lot of nearby sightseeing, though. Most roads to and from the accommodation are quite narrow and winding. We mostly stayed in the house and by the pool, which also was very well managed. If you're planning to mostly stay in the house, it is perfect. Stia, which is located 5-10 minutes by car from the house, is a quiet little town that provides everything you need. It is also a nice place to spend some time.

Winding (and narrow expecially in little villages) roads are a tipical feature of tuscan countryside...
And what about nearby shigtseeing?
The house is located in the heart of tuscan countryside despite being close to the main tuscan cities. It's midway between Florence and Arezzo both reachable by car in about one hour, while the other big cities like Siena, Chianti, Montepulciano, Pienza, Lucca, Pisa can equally be reached by car in about two hours... Not so far away, after all!
Then of course there's Casentino valley that has nothing less then most popular places...
To say nothing of the many local wineries that organize wine tasting and home cooking restaurants where to taste tipical food...
Very close to the house there are a lot of historical and cultural sites that worth to be visited... like for example the medieval "borgo" (village) of Stia where there is also the "Wood art Museum" known for "panno Casentino" a tipical woollens product in Casentino valley weared by Audrey Hepburn "Colazione da Tiffany”.
Porciano Castle with its museum and the Romena Castle and Ancient Roman Church where you find also a bar/restaurant and a green equipped area with tables where you can relax.
Poppi and Raggiolo two of the Most Beautiful Village in Italy. In Poppi you can visit the Castle where lived Dante Alighieri and that was the prototype of Palazzo Vecchio in Florence.
Or even the sacred Hermitage and ancient Monastery of Camaldoli and again La Verna Sanctuary a big and beautiful church bild on the rock and usually known like the place where St. Francis lived for some period of his life and received the stigmata.
If you like nature and hiking you can enjoy activities organized by environmental tour guides like walking, e-bike tours or horseback ridings to discover the medieval villages of Casentino valley and the Casentinesi Forests National Park (UNESCO world heritage). They also organize activities for kids like water trekking in Arno river, trekking with the donkey or to see fireflies...Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes

Wij hebben met ons grote gezin van 12 personen een heerlijke vakantie beleefd. Het huis is zeer goed onderhouden en goed schoon. De bedden liggen erg goed. Het zwembad is in een woord geweldig er staan voldoende ligbedden en parasols en er hangt zelfs een volleybalnet waar onze kleinkinderen veel gebruik van gemaakt hebben. Je kunt heerlijk zitten aan de grote buitentafel die onder een vaste zonneluifel staat.er is ook een bbq en een ingebouwde pizza oven waarin je pizza’s kunt maken op de originele wijze. Het zwembad wordt door de eigenaars om de twee dagen vakkundig gereinigd.Maria en Leonardo hadden ook regelmatig goed tips voor ons voor wat betreft uitstapjes en activiteiten in de omgeving. Het dorpje Stia is op 10 min. rijden en daar zijn twee supermarkten en div. Restaurants ook een leuk riviertje voor kinderen om in te spelen.Wil je naar de bekende steden zoals Pisa, luca,Sienna en Florence dan ben je wel 1 tot 2 uur onderweg.
Wij vonden het allemaal geweldig en komen hopelijk nog een keertje terug.
