Outdoors

The park surrounding Torre La Ripa extends across a hilly terrain arranged on various terraced levels, encompassing approximately 2,000 square metres of completely fenced garden bordered by a generous expanse of olive trees along the perimeter. Areas of well-maintained lawn alternate with elegantly paved surfaces, all embellished with brightly coloured potted plants and fragrant bushes of Mediterranean herbs, creating a vibrant and sensory outdoor environment. On the side of the main exits from the house, a large panoramic terrace has been thoughtfully arranged to include a dedicated outdoor dining area, offering a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living. Please note that the garden photographs were taken in spring, and therefore the flowering and the colours of the grass may differ from what you will find upon arrival at the villa. The non-heated swimming pool is situated just a few metres from the house on a beautiful terrace overlooking the hills of Cortona, and is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday of October. Rectangular in shape with Roman steps providing access to the water, the pool measures 8 x 4 metres with a constant depth of 1.25 metres. Lined in clear-coloured PVC with a stone border, it is equipped with chlorine purification, internal and external lighting, and a cold-water shower. The generous sunbathing area surrounding the pool is furnished with sunbeds and umbrellas, creating the perfect setting for moments of pure relaxation.

Unit Layout

Torre La Ripa is configured across 3 floors connected by internal stairs, plus a panoramic turret, and comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests across 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. On the ground floor, a French window in the entrance leads into a large open-plan living area enlivened by arched openings, comprising a lounge with satellite TV, a dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen with practical and direct access to the outdoor dining area. Please note that the fireplace on this floor is ornamental. This level is also served by a bathroom with shower. The sleeping area is distributed across the upper floors. On the first floor, you will find a double bedroom served by a bathroom with shower, as well as a twin bedroom with joinable beds and a private bathroom with shower; this twin room benefits from direct access to the garden through a French window. On the second floor, there is a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with shower, and a further double bedroom with dividable beds and an en-suite bathroom with shower, this last room featuring a bed positioned in the loft area of the turret, illuminated by several panoramic windows. The laundry room is located outside the main building, under the loggia, and is reached via a flight of 10 steps.

The acceptance of pets at the property must be previously authorised by the owner, and guests are kindly asked to communicate the number, size, and breed of their animals in advance. Children under 12 years of age are exempt from the tourism tax applicable during the stay. The fireplace located on the ground floor is ornamental and cannot be used for heating purposes. Linen is provided on a weekly basis, and both an initial and a final cleaning service are included in the rental price.
