The apartments are characteristic and furnished with modern comforts including individual thermostats for heating and a kitchen. A vacation in which, instead of an impersonal tourist hotel, one finds a friendly and familial atmosphere where a guest experiences true hospitality. We are in central Italy, in the most pleasant part of Tuscany, near Loro Ciuffenna and in the foothills of the Pratomagno mountain, midway from Arezzo, Florence and Siena.
Where the countryside is that emblematic of Tuscany: rolling hills blanketed with the mixed cultivation of grapes and olives, fields and forests. The typical Mediterranean colors vary from the soft tints of the leaves of the grape vines and the opaque greens of the olive groves. These are the signs of the presence of man that dominate the landscape, now as in centuries past.

Since 1831 we have produced Tiberio wine in the midst of this beautiful landscape.

The quality of the terrain, selection of the grape varieties, limited production and maturation in small oak barrels (barriques) give our wines the perfumes and flavors characteristic to the ancient Tuscan tradition. To be drunk with conviction by those who love wine.

An old mill, which recently closed, was powered by a water wheel for over 100 years and is still visible from the bridge today. Wandering through the streets is an amazing experience, if you're in the area be sure to stop and visit.

Loro Ciuffenna is located about halfway between Florence and Arezzo making it a great location for renting a villa. For such a small village there are a surprising number of good restaurants in town, as well as, nearby in Terranuova Bracciolini. “What a beautiful property and house. We were welcomed by Lucia and the owner of the property upon arrival. This property exceeded our expectations. It was well maintained and the owner stopped by every morning to make sure the flowers were watered and the pool was cleaned. We had use of the beautiful pizza oven and had a chef prepared meal that was fantastic. The property was located close to a train station that brought us to Florence in 37 minutes. All the bedrooms were air conditioned, which we only had to use one night. Best vacation ever- will be back soon.”

Anatra In Porchetta

This recipe is a combination of the popular Porchetta with duck instead of the normal pork roast. Porchetta is a popular staple at many festivals and holidays in Italy, served from street vendors and often in a Panini. The Anatra in Porchetta offers a slightly different spin on the traditional dish that you are sure to find enjoyable.

Between the tourist cities of Arezzo and Florence is the unusual erosive rock formation called ‘Le Balze of Valdarno’ meaning the Cliffs of Valdarno. The Balze are a series of large jutted rocks that rise high about the surrounding landscape in quite a striking fashion.
