The house is very spacious and nicely furnished. But it needs a lot of maintenance.
We found out that the house is for sale. Now we understand why it has been neglected.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigt.
Die Besitzer sind sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist perfekt für Erkundungen in die
umliegende Toskana. Sehr guter eigener Wein.

We had a lovely time at Casa Cipressi. The house remained reasonably cool and the pool was lovely. As you would expect from a rural property there was lots of wildlife- including 3 types of ants (make sure you keep food covered), lizards and frogs. We took the train from Certaldo into both Sienna and Firenze it was efficient and much more relaxing than driving. Enjoyed meals at the local restaurant. Isobel was welcoming and quick to sort out any issues.

Wonderful house with great views. The drive up to the very narrow in places , not for large cars. This made going sight seeing and shopping difficult. The house cool because of high ceilings. Small kitchen but well equiped Bedrooms large but we were disappointed with the bed linen. This let the house down Great pool. We were unfortunate with the number of wasps which interfered with outdoor activities.

Parfait endroit pour passer des vacances calmes et reposantes. La piscine est de belle dimension mais attention, il faudra beaucoup utiliser la voiture pour visiter la région. Logement conforme à nos attentes. Propriétaires très discrets.
