The location and outdoor areas are beautiful - although the pool and pavers are showing signs of age. The small villa is perfect although again showing signs of wear and tear (Dishwasher was not working and kitchen poorly equipped. The main villa requires alot of attention with toilets and showers not working properly, aircon not working in one room, missing light bulbs and dirty pillows. Despite previous reviews there are still no pool towels provided and no mention that renters will need special power adaptors for the 10A electrics. Given the remote location, a small amenities pack (Milk, coffee, bread etc) upon arrival would be a nice touch - especially considering the premium rental fees. On the plus side, the Wi-fi was excellent. With a small investment to bring the cleanliness and facilities up to standard, this could be an amazing property once more.

This villa/bungalow is set in 750 hectares of vines producing Montepulcino vin noble. The swimming pool and hot tub are great and it is weel equiped apart from of you want comfy sitting in the villa as there is only two beds and a sining table with hard chairs. It has air conditioning in each room which is a very expensive extra when it is bery hot which is most of the time. The villa is reached by a farm track so good tyres on your car are a must.

Einzigartige, absolut ruhige Lage in den Bergen der Toskana. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben und sehr gepflegt. Ob zu Zweit oder mit der ganzen Familie es ist alles vorhanden was man zum täglichen Leben so braucht.Umgeben ist das Haus mit vielen Obstbäumen die je nach Jahreszeit geerntet werden dürfen. Auch die vielen Blumen rund ums Haus sind wunderschön.Der wirklich große Garten ist komplett eingezäunt, so war es auch für unseren Hund Lucy wunderbar durch den Garten zu laufen. Das Highlight des Hauses ist der tolle Pool mit den Liegen und dem Poolhaus. Gerade heuer im Juli war es super, da es sehr heiß war. Wir waren heuer schon zum 3. Mal hier.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Unique, absolutely quiet location in the mountains of Tuscany. The house is as described and very well maintained. The house is surrounded by many fruit trees that can be harvested depending on the season, and the many flowers around the house are beautiful. The really big garden is completely fenced in, so it was also wonderful for our dog Lucy to run through the garden. The highlight of the house is the great pool with the sunbeds and the pool house. Especially this year in July it was great because it was very hot. We stayed here for the 3rd time now.
Dear Roberta and Stefano, thank you very much for two wonderful weeks with you. We are already looking forward to next year.

Seit vielen Jahren besuchen wir das Land, wo die Zitronen blühen, immer im Juni. Noch keine Saison und die Tage sind sehr lang. Dabei ist uns wichtig, ein abgelegenes Haus möglichst auf einem Berg inmitten von Ruhe und Wärme zu finden. Das hat auch überwiegend gut funktioniert. Mal weniger, mal mehr. Dass wir dieses Jahr aber einen Volltreffer landen konnten, haben wir sofort beim Eintreffen bemerkt. Ein immer sauberer Pool mit Aussicht wie ein römischer Kaiser, ein gepflegtes Interieur in allen Räumen, ein Bett, wo man wie Zuhause schlafen kann ohne Quietschen und Rumpeln, außerordentlich gastfreundliche Vermieter, die wie die Heinzelmännchen den Pool und das Gelände pflegten sowie immer einen Korb mit Überraschungen hinterließen, Sonnenuntergänge besser als in Capri und ein gut gepflegtes Areal haben uns einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt beschert. Zum ersten Mal haben wir gemeint, hier kommen wir noch einmal her. Das gab es noch nie!!
Die Anfahrt ist etwas staubig, dafür sind die umliegenden Orte sehenswert. Wir möchten uns auch hier nochmal für die außerordentliche Gastfreundschaft bedanken. Sicher wird Madame Simonetta diese Zeilen lesen und sich darüber freuen. Und: Man sieht sich immer Zweimal….!!!!
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] For many years we have visited the land where the lemons bloom, always in June. It is not yet full summer and the days are very long. It is important for us to find a secluded house, preferably on a hill, surrounded by peace and warmth. For the most part, that has worked out well. Sometimes less, sometimes more. But this year we noticed immediately when we arrived that we had hit the bull's eye. An always clean pool with a view like a Roman emperor, a well-kept interior in all rooms, a bed where you can sleep like at home without squeaking and rumbling, extraordinarily hospitable landlords who looked after the pool and the grounds and always left a basket with surprises, sunsets better than in Capri and a well-maintained area gave us a wonderful stay. For the first time we thought, here we will come back again. This has never happened before!!!
The journey is a bit dusty, but the surrounding villages are worth seeing. We would like to thank you again for the extraordinary hospitality. I'm sure Madame Simonetta will read these lines and be delighted. And: We always see each other twice....!!!!

Fantastic accommodations and location! Just a 10 minute drive to the lovely town of Cortona. All seventeen family members had both privacy and shared larger spaces. Lorenzo, the owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. This was a great experience that I highly recommend.

Fabulous location and close to charming villages with some great restaurants nearby. Rosado, the owner, is the most helpful host with ideas for outings (wine tastings, visits to historical buildings etc), recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. He could not have been more charming and is a great asset to the rental.
