Immersa in un contesto naturale unico e in una posizione privilegiata dell'Argentario con vista mozzafiato, dall'isola Rossa a Giannutri, fino al Giglio.
Esternamente attrezzata in ogni dettaglio per poter godere appieno della vita all'aria aperta, dalla mattina alla sera. La presenza della vegetazione endemica, oltre agli ulivi, ai cipressi, alle bordure di rosmarino e ai boschetti di salvia, rende l'ambiente particolarmente rilassante. Splendida la selezione delle piante grasse, che completano la cornice con un tocco personale. Graditissima anche la zona cottura esterna.
Gli arredi interni, molto curati, non sono stati pensati solo per il confort. Numerose opere di artisti locali, oltre che mobili ed oggetti di pregio di varia provenienza, ci hanno incuriosito e hanno reso il soggiorno ancora più gradevole. Ringraziamo il proprietario per la calorosa accoglienza.

Externally equipped in every detail to fully enjoy life in the open air, from morning to evening. The presence of endemic vegetation, in addition to olive trees, cypresses, rosemary borders and sage groves, makes the environment particularly relaxing. Wonderful selection of succulents, which complete the frame with a personal touch. The external cooking area is also very welcome.
The interior furnishings, well cared for, have not been designed only for comfort. Numerous works by local artists, as well as furniture and valuable objects from various sources, have intrigued us and made the stay even more pleasant. We thank the owner for the warm welcome.

We were a big group and spend a really nice time in this house. It is really calm out there and you have an amazing outlook on Firenze as well as on beautiful sunsets. The pictures speak for themselves. The owner was really polite and helped us with every question. He came by the house every second day to clean the pool.
Only the road leading to the house was really difficult for normal cars and should have been mentioned beforehand.

L'eccellanza di questo posto passo molto per quello che le persone ricercano, noi due coppie ed un cagnolino che volevamo staccare la spina e godere di tutto ciò che si vede nelle foto siamo stati benissimo!!!! La struttura è più bella live rispetto a quanto non si percepisce in foto, i proprietari sono persone disponibili e gentilissime, l'intera giornata a divertirvi in piscina, a fare aperitivi ha reso la nostra vacanza meravigliosa!!!!!!!!
P.S. se avete un cane è il regalo più bello che potete fargli.....ci torneremo certamente SUPERTOPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

The Villa is very nice, with all necessary you need. Very peaceful, is perfect to relax and to spend lazy days in nature and visiting all old cities which are very interesting with their historical importance. The only 2 points which are less positives are insects (a lot) and the temperature of the swimming pool (very "tonic") . For the rest is quite the perfection: you will spend wonderful holidays in a wonderful Villa! Warm recommended!

It is a beautiful house with a fine kitchen and fine bedrooms with bathrooms (by the way, there is one bedroom where the bathroom is located separately in the hallway). We thought we had rented the whole house, but the 2nd smaller part was closed off (we would have liked to have known this earlier). It is nice that your waste is removed by the homeowner. The garden around the house is a bit bare and there is not much view because of the decent shrubs. From Castiglion Fiorentione it is about a quarter of an hour drive up the mountain (quite a winding road). The last 1.3km is unpaved and difficult to drive, narrow and dark (evening) and with a lower car (sports car) hardly doable. Surroundings are beautiful.

Das Ferienhaus ist, wie auf den Bildern zu sehen, sehr schön gelegen, geräumig und gepflegt. Die Aussicht ist einfach toll. Wir waren mit 10 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern für 14 Tage im August 2020 dort und hatten insgesamt eine sehr schöne Zeit.
Das Anwesen und das Haus selbst sind toll. Die Bilder versprechen nicht zuviel. Bei dem Anwesen handelt es sich laut Roberto um einen früheren Jagdsitz der legendären Familie Medici.
Roberto ist der Vermieter des Hauses. Er ist sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit bei Fragen.
Die Lage des Hauses ist auf einem Berg von Wald umgeben. Roberto selbst lebt auf dem gleichen Grundstück in einem seperatem Haus, was aber nicht stört.
Der Pool ist sehr groß und wird täglich gesäubert und bei Bedarf aufgefüllt. Der Whirlpool ebenso. Dieser wird tagsüber über eine Solaranlage erhitzt. Bei sehr warmen Tagen (35° oder mehr) kann es darin dann schon sehr warm werden.
Das Grundstück verfügt über eine sehr große Fläche, die vom Vermieter u.a. auch zum Weinanbau genutzt wird. Die vorhandenen Obstbäume (Pflaume, Feige, Brombeer,Zitrone,Orange) und Kräuterbüsche dürfen von den Gästen genutzt werden.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind am Ort vorhanden, der Lage des Hauses geschuldet benötigt man hier jedoch immer zwingend ein Auto.
Im Haus sind fast alle Fenster mit Insektenschutzvorrichtungen versehen. Dies war sehr gut, denn durch die Waldlage ist man hier doch einer gewissen Population ausgesetzt. Auch der Pavillon konnte durch Insektenschutznetze und Sonnenschutz geschützt werden.
Tagesausflüge nach z.B. Sienna, Pisa, Florenz oder Bologna sind sehr empfehlenswert.
Corona bedingt konnten leider keine Ausflüge für Weinverkostungen oder Olivenölverkostungen unternommen werden.
Es gibt leider auch ein paar Negativpunkte, die wir nicht verheimlichen wollen.
Leider gab es sehr viele Bremsen, die die Poolnutzung mal mehr, mal weniger stark beeinträchtigt haben.
Zumindest im August muss man, laut dem Vermieter, wohl oft damit rechnen.
Die nahe gelegene Motorrad Rennstrecke Mugello Circuit ist nahezu täglich in Benutzung und kann je nach Windrichtung die Entspannung beeinträchtigen.
Die Einrichtung der Küche ist an sich umfassend, doch einige Töpfe und andere Hilfsmittel könnten langsam erneuert werden. Hier haben wir bei anderen Häusern in dieser Preisklasse andere Erfahrungen sammeln können.
Für 13 Personen ist der zur Verfügung stehende Gasherd/Gasofen leider etwas knapp bemessen.
Hinweis: Die zusätzlich zu zahlenden Stromkosten betreffen auch die Pumpenkosten für die beiden Pools. Dies stellt einen nicht unerheblichen Betrag dar, den man bei der finanziellen Planung berücksichtigen sollte.
Für uns war dies in den 2 Wochen allein ca. 300€ Stromkosten.

The property and the house itself are great. The pictures don't promise too much. According to Roberto, the property is an earlier hunting seat of the legendary Medici family. Roberto is the landlord of the house. He is very friendly and always helpful with questions.
The location of the house is on a mountain surrounded by forest. Roberto himself lives on the same property in a separate house, but that doesn't bother.
The pool is very large and is cleaned daily and refilled if necessary. The whirlpool as well. This is heated by a solar system during the day. On very warm days (35 ° or more) it can get very warm in there.
The property has a very large area, which the landlord, among other things, is also used for viticulture. The existing fruit trees (plum, fig, blackberry, lemon, orange) and herb bushes can be used by guests.
Shops are available, but the location of the house means that you always need a car.
Almost all windows in the house have screens. This was very good, because the forest location means that you are exposed to a certain population here. The pavilion could also be protected by insect protection nets and sun protection.
Day trips to e.g. Sienna, Pisa, Florence or Bologna are highly recommended.
Unfortunately, due to the Corona, no excursions for wine tastings or olive oil tastings could be undertaken.
Unfortunately, there are also a few negative points that we don't want to hide. Unfortunately, there were a lot of horseflies that impaired the use of the pool, sometimes more, sometimes less. At least in August, according to the landlord, you have to expect it often.
The nearby Mugello Circuit motorcycle racetrack is used almost every day and depending on the wind direction, it can affect relaxation.
The kitchen equipment is extensive in itself, but some pots and other utensils could be replaced. We have been able to gain different experiences with other houses in this price range. The available gas stove / gas oven is unfortunately a bit tight for 13 people.
Note: The additional electricity costs to be paid also apply to the pump costs for the two pools. This is a not inconsiderable amount that should be taken into account in financial planning. For us this was about 300 € electricity costs in the 2 weeks alone.

Ein sehr schön gelegenes Anwesen mit großen Räumen im toskanischen Stil. Die großen Rasenflächen wurden täglich am frühen Morgen bewässert. Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub und genossen täglich den Pool mit eingebauter Gegenstromanlage. Der Pool wird 2mal pro Woche gereinigt. Wir hatten die Option die Bäder und die Küche alle 2 Tage reinigen zu lassen. Für einen Abend haben wir den uns empfohlenen Koch bestellt. Dieser servierte uns (10 Personen ) ein hervorragendes toskanisches Menue, welches in der hauseigenen Küche vorbereitet wurde. Auch der Besuch eines Weinbaubetriebes mit Verkostung von 8 verschiedenen Weinen war ein schönes Erlebnis. Gerne empfehlen wir die Villa Montefiore weiter.
