We stayed in fall for 10 days there as a group of 8 people. The house is located on a mountain and so it was a bit windy but still great to take a swim in the pool. upstairs where four bedrooms for 8 people and two bathrooms which was perfect for us, downstairs was another room for 2 people, a bathroom, a living room, a kitchen an a dining room. In the kitchen where all utensils you need and towels where also there to use. The house is very nice decorated and so you feel very comfortable in it. Outside was a wonderful garden with a table underneath big trees. For visiting the pool you had to walk about 200 meters. The property of the house was pretty big and beautiful. Next to the Villa Buonaparte is another house which is getting renovated at the time, they started working from monday to friday at 8.00 in the morning which was for a few of our group a bit annoying. All in all we really recommend the house and would book it again.

We were 4 couples who thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Torre Del Cielo. The facilities were excellent for our stay of 1 week. The location is rustic as is the building. The beds, bathrooms kitchen and public spaces were well equipped. Unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy the pool, but it looked inviting. Rosado was an outstanding host. His wife had prepared an excellent buffet for Saturday night. Many good restaurants are identified and in the area. The wine tasting in Montpulciano and the monastery visit were very good. Certainly would recommend for similar groups wanting to experience this part of Tuscany.

The Villa is charming and the village itself lets you to believe that you are lost in Tuscany away form the big city pace. Our hosts were charming and the meal they had us help prepare was great fun and did i mention very filling

We were a group of 6 middle aged women on a two week trip that included Vernazza, Lucca and Florence looking for a place to stay for a week in the Tuscan countryside that would be close enough for day trips to Sienna, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Cortona, and the Chianti wine region. This authentically restored farmhouse is on a quiet rural road leading up to the town of Farnetella, which has a church but no cafes or retail shops, resulting in just local traffic for the few people who still live up there. The local market for groceries and inexpensive wine is only 3 miles away in Sinalunga called Simply. This place exceeded our expectations in many ways. It is very clean, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms modernized, and the kitchen added on for those who like to cook is a dream. Sign up for pizza making night and pasta making night. With wine and dessert both are so much fun and affordable. They also make their own olive oil so buy some in a tin can to take home. There is a local pizzaria called Scroccazucche(Smashing Pumpkins) in Rigomagno which is much more than a pizzaria and always packed with locals even on a Sunday night so make reservations and do take away one night if you can't get in and don't feel like cooking. Don't miss historic Felsina vineyard not to far away in Chianti wine region that grows some grapes right there in Farnetella. Ask Grazia about the local spa in Rapolano. Lucignano is just 5 miles away and can be seen from the backyard. Better than going to more touristy towns we saw that week. Panzano is another hill top town with wine tastings, a famous butcher and great views of the valleys below. Can't wait to go back soon with my family. Enjoy!

This property was perfect for my family to stay in. We had enough space in a beautiful location, wonderful pool, large table to eat at and good access to nearby cities. We had no hot water at first which was an inconvenience but fixed, the dishwasher didn't work, the grounds are in need of some upkeep, and we were surprised at the security needs there but this did not prevent us from enjoying this place.

My family (4 children) stayed here for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it. A charming stone house, very clean and welcoming, bottle of wine and traditional biscuits left for us, as well as a fire set to go in the hearth. Delightful village with lovely restaurant and although remote we still managed to do day trips to the Cinque Terre and Pisa and Vinci. Lovely to experience living high up in the hills. Thanks for having us.
