Separates Ferienhaus im Grundstück und neben dem Haus des Vermieters, außerhalb von Foiano della Chiana (Auto erforderlich) in ruhiger Lage mit angrenzenden Oliven- und Weinplantagen; sehr freundliche Vermieter; Ausstattung wie in der Anzeige beschrieben (Sat-TV nur italienische Sender eingestellt) und auf den Bildern dargestellt; Bad mit Dusche, die etwas eng ist; wunderschöner Pool ist zum Schwimmen geeignet; am Ferienhaus befindet sich eine Sitzgelegenheit unter einem Pergola; Bett- und Badwäsche sind vorhanden und werden wöchentlich gewechselt.

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter, Anreisebescheibung, Schlüsselübergabe, sowie Check-in und out reibungslos abgelaufen.
Das Ferienhaus an sich modern eingerichtet. Zwei Schlafzimmer mit bequemen Betten, Bad, voll ausgestattete Küche, Wohnbereich mit Sat- TV, DVD Player und Audio Anlage. Schnelles und stabiles WLAN ebenso kostenfrei verfügbar. Schöne Terasse im Grünen mit zusätzlichen Sitzgelegenheiten im Garten, Pool, und auch ein Grill mit Pizzaofen. PKW Stellplatz direkt vor dem Haus vorhanden, abgesichert durch ein elektrisches Tor, das über eine Fernbedienung geöffnet wird. Sehr angenehm.
Kleine Kritikpunkte: lediglich 1 deutsches TV Programm (ZDF) vorhanden, abends , bei schlechtem Wetter oder bei Urlaub mit Kindern nicht optimal. DVD Player noch kein Blue Ray fähiges Gerät. Dazu empfinde ich eine Endreinigung in Höhe von 60.-€ im Verhältnis zum doch recht hohen Mietpreis unangebracht, da besonders in der Küche (Backofen, Toaster, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle) von uns nachgereinigt wurde. Ebenfalls fehlt im Wohnzimmer eine zweite bequeme Sitzgelegenheit am Abend. Zwar sind ein zweier Sofa, sowie ein Sessel vorhanden, diese sind aber nicht besonders bequem, eine zweite Couch wäre hier ratsam. Platz ist vorhanden. Daher das eine Häuschen Abzug.
Zur Lage: das Ferienhaus befindet sich in ruhiger Alleinlage, angefahren über einen Schotterweg am Ortseingang in Asciano. Das Zentrum der Kleinstadt erreicht man zu Fuß nur, wenn man entlang der Straße geht, die teilweise ohne Bürgersteig ist. Nicht sehr angenehm. Daher empfehlen wir einen kurzem Umweg durch das Wohngebiet zu gehen, wenn man zu Fuß in die Stadt möchte.

The holiday home is modern in style. Two bedrooms with comfortable beds, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, living area with satellite TV, DVD player and audio system. Fast and stable Wi-Fi also available for free. Beautiful terrace in the countryside with additional seating in the garden, pool, and also a barbecue with pizza oven. Car parking space directly in front of the house, secured by an electric gate, which is opened via a remote control. Very pleasant.
Small criticisms: only 1 German TV program (ZDF) available, in the evening, in bad weather or on vacation with children not optimal. DVD player still no Blue Ray enabled device. In addition I feel a final cleaning in the amount of 60.- € in relation to the quite high rental price inappropriate, since especially in the kitchen (oven, toaster, fridge, microwave) was cleaned by us. Also missing in the living room a second comfortable seating in the evening. Although a sofa for 2, and a chair are available, but these are not very comfortable, a second couch would be advisable. There is space. Hence the one star deduction.
The location: the house is located in a quiet secluded location, approached by a gravel road at the entrance to Asciano. The center of the small town can be reached on foot only if you walk along the road that is partly without sidewalk. Not very pleasant. Therefore, we recommend a short detour through the residential area if you want to walk to the city.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet hébergement, très bien situé, dans un village parfait comme base de départ pour visiter les cinq terres. Cette petite maison contient tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour à 4 personnes maxi. Le chauffage du réz de chaussée est un poële à bois un peu ancien, plutôt difficile à allumer. Aux étages, chaque chambre est équipée d'une climatisation réversible. Le lieu de parking est un peu éloigné de l'hébergement (5 minutes à pied) et il faut donc porter les bagages : à déconseiller donc aux personnes ayant des difficultés pour marcher. AUtre point négatif : la maison est située au pied d'un clocher qui sonne les heures et le demi-heures, même la nuit. Pour notre part nous avons malgré tout apprécié cet hébergement et l'accueil qui nous a été réservé.

This small house contains everything you need for a good stay for 4 people max. The heating on the ground floor is a wood stove, a little old, rather difficult to ignite. On the floors, each room is equipped with a reversible air-conditioning. The parking is a little distant from the accommodation (5 minutes on foot) and it is necessary to carry the luggage: so not advisable for people having difficulties to walk. Another negative point: the house is located at the foot of a bell tower that rings on the hours and half-hours, even at night. For our part we have nevertheless enjoyed this accommodation and the welcome that has been reserved for us.

Everything about Villa Castelletto was superb. The warm welcome from Gabriella, her kind gifts of local delicacies, the spacious, spotless and so comfortable accommodation - top class throughout. The swimming pool with pool-side complimentary bar stocked with fruit juices and mineral water was an absolute treat, We stayed in Archi and had our own terrace complete with canopy to shade us in the heat of the day. The location of the Villa is simply beautiful - not only are you a mere 4 km from Sinalunga - where the citta alta with it's lovely square and Cafe was our daily breakfast stop. When you stay in VIlla Castelletto you are truly in the heart of Tuscany - Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza, Siena are all within an hour by car. FANTASTICO - in a word a truly memorable place to stay and to which we would return in a heart beat. Lynda & Patricia. Dublin

We enjoyed every aspect of the apartment. The owners were very helpful in locating a pair of crutches after my wife twisted her ankle in Cortona. We chose to park on the street instead of the driveway only because we were going in and out so often. The patio has a wonderful view of the vineyards that grow right down to the town. Full kitchen meant we could shop at the local supermarket and make some meals in house. I would recommend this place highly for the easy access to both Florence and the Chianti region and beyond. The Viciani family are perfect hosts.

We stayed in the Mandorlo villa which was an excellent choice. Not only were the bedrooms spacious & beds were very comfortable. The villa is in a great central location for day trips to various Tuscan towns. We ventured out during the day & would come back and reminisce about the day while enjoying a glass of wine by the fire. Plenty of room for 2 couples. The kitchen was well equipped with enough pots & pans to make a dinner at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay in our apartment just a 5 min drive to the various parking lots of historical Siena. Although the owner resides in the same building, they gave us more than enough privacy to feel as if this were our estate. The apartment is very spacious, and the meals on the balcony offered a breathtaking view of Costalpino and Siena hills. I would definitely recommend this property and its very attentive owner.
