Villa Corolle was exactly what my husband and I were looking for - privacy, beautiful grounds and stunning views. This is a beautiful Tuscan villa within walking distance to town. The owners have done a marvelous job with the furnishings and we had every comfort of home. We did extensive research and were not disappointed in our choice. Montepulciano is the perfect size town for shopping, drinking wine, dining or just wandering around - we walked several times to town from the villa. The only (small) issue we experienced was getting there - we were not able to find the correct exit and the gentleman meeting us did not speak English. We made it eventually and it was well worth the trouble. I cannot recommend this villa enough!

Wir waren vom 13.10 bis 20.10 mit 9 Personen im Haus Alice. Uns hat es dort sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus ist 2010 liebevoll renoviert. In der Küche gibt es ein offenen Kamin den wir auch zum Grillen nutzen konnten. Das Wetter war sehr gut und den großzügigen Pool konnten wir noch nutzen.Ankunftszeit hatten wir 16:30-17:30 Uhr ausgemacht und dachten das der Vermieter an Ort und stelle ist. Dies war nicht der Fall. Wir mussten ein paar telefonate führen. Das verwirrende an der Sache: Auf der Buchung standen fünf verschiedene Nummern. Nach einer halben Stund hatten wir es geschaft. Alice brachte uns den Schlüssel. Das war das einzigste was nicht so gut lief. alles ander hat super gepasst und die Toskana ist sehr schöne, super Landschaft, schöne Städte und gutes Essen. Viel Spaß im Hause Alice. Wir würden wieder hinfahren.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We stayed at the house Alice from 13th to 20th October with 9 people . We have really enjoyed this place. The house has been lovingly restored in 2010. In the kitchen there is a fireplace that we could also use for barbecuing. The weather was very good and we could even use the large pool still. We had agreed a check-in between 16:30 and 17:30 and thought that the owner were on the spot. This was not the case. We had to make a few phone calls. The confusing thing about it was that on the rental voucher were five different numbers. After half an hour we managed to enter the property. Alice gave us the key. That was the only thing which went not well. Everything else was perfect: Tuscany is very nice, great scenery, beautiful towns and great food. Have fun in the house Alice. We would go back again.

Rooms are nice mix of rustic look & feel with all modern conveniences. Location provides easy car or bike access to San Gimignano. Owner/manager was wonderful -- very friendly & helpful. Setting was peaceful with lovely views of surrounding vineyards, olive groves, & villas.

The houses were fine, albeit sparsely furnished.
In the house and in the bedrooms/bathrooms the light was insufficient for reading etc.(we were there in mid oktober). As we had planned to play bridge in the evenings (4 tables) we had a problem. This was solved by letting us play in a separate building, where we also had our evening meal.
The cooking was excellent and varied, as were the wines.
Our group will certainly be back!

The apartment was great and Luca was very helpful and a pleasure to meet. The location is perfect,close to everything, we even came home for lunch. We really liked the gazebo and enjoyed many meals and wine.

Even though this review is one year late.....we wanted you to know that our stay in vecciale was wonderful. I only rated it good for I save excellent for absolute perfection. I wish you have a very good rating available. house was everything we expected. comfortable and spacious. wish the laundry was better located but loved the outdoor covered patio. need to come back before end of september to enjoy the lovely pool...

We loved our villa home! This was our second stay at Fonte Vinaglia. The property is so well taken care of and very very clean. The owners are a beautiful family and we will always cherish our friendship with them and their children. The location of Fonte Vinaglia is perfect.It is a beautiful view, peaceful, and close to heaven. Within an hour or so drive, one can visit many different "hilltop" towns that are truly "Italy". The train station located just a 10 minute drive from the villa allowed us to travel to Florence numerous times as well as other larger towns when we didn't want to drive. We simply loved our trip and our hosts!
