I highly recommend this villa. It is only 10 minutes from Arezzo, spotless with an excellent swimming poole surrounded by olive trees. Most of all the hosts were excellent. Eventhough we could not speak Italian and they could not speak French or English, we got along very well. They drove us to a shoppng center and to a restaurant. We asked them if they had a toaster - so the went and bought us one.

Palazzo Rosadi is a fabulous villa. The location, views of surrounding valleys, and the property itself are more than we hoped for. The villa is a beautiful, historic building with updated kitchen and baths, comfortable beds, dining and sitting rooms and tranquil private grounds. We woke every morning to the sound of birds in the many trees on the property. Mr. Rosado Rosadi is a most helpful and gracious host. He provided directions, recommended restaurants, and was knowledgable about many nearby towns. We were given all of the pertinent information about the rental before our arrival. Though our visit was in late April and we did not choose to use the pool, we were able to enjoy the yard with an outdoor table and ample space for quiet roaming. Our group of seven adults enjoyed the kitchen, making wonderful shared meals. The location of the villa encourages walks to the nearby village of Ripoli and beyond. It was a wonderful getaway and we highly recommend it.

We had a lovely time at Centone. It is a beautiful, well-kept villa and grounds with amazing views of the valley below. The small town nearby had friendly people. The villa might have been hard to find, but the owner, a local man, volunteered to meet us and escorted us to it. He was friendly, offering to make us arrangements at the local vineyard and making restaurant recommendations. Our family had a marvelous time and would love to go back.

The area is really wonderful, nicely isolated. The overall technical conditions are also very good (heating, hot water, cleaness, service), and the property is in a very good shape. The only negative aspect is that the apartments are very close to each other, so when all are booked the situation might be noisy and crowded. Fortunately it was not my case.

a dream!! what a great vacation we had at Marina and Francesco's Casa di Vignolo. the beautiful authentic house, fully equiped,the pergine valdarno cute village with small grossery, backery, the great athmosphere of Tuscany - made our time there - simply unforgetable. and not even mentioning Marina and Francesco - so cool, friendly, welcoming people. thank you so much!!! Als wir in dieser Unterkunft ankamen war alles einfach nur traumhaft schön.
Super nette Betreuung durch den Chef und seine Frau und das ganze Anwesen war ein Traum, ein italienischer Traum!
Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingericht. Das Anwesen liegt ganz abseits von jedem Verkehrslärm o.ä. Man hört nur die Vögel zwitschern und sonst nichts.
Im nahen Ort 10 Min. zu Fuß kann man sehr gut essen. Für Unternehmungen muss man aber jeweils etwas Anreise einplanen.
Die Gegend ist ansonsten sehr abwechslungsreich (Felder, Wald etc.)
Wir würden sofort und ohne zu überlegen wieder buchen und können das auch jedem der sich für diese Unterkunft interessiert empfehlen.

Very nice support by the owner and his wife and the whole place was a dream, an Italian dream!
The rooms are very tastefully decorated. The property is quite apart from any traffic noise, etc . You hear only the birds twittering and nothing else.
In the village nearby (10 minutes walk) you can eat very well. But for activities you have to schedule each time somewhat like a trip.
The area is very diversified though (fields, woods, etc.)
We would book it again immediately and without pondering too long and we can also recommend it to anyone who is interested in this property.

Our family of 6 (two parents, two children 12/14 and two grandmothers spent one week at the Torre del Cielo at the end of April 2011. We can honestly say that it was the best vacation home that we have ever stayed in.
The house is located at the end of the small village road and was very quiet and secluded enough to suit our need for privacy and tranquility. Behind the house is a small gravel road that leads up into the mountains and provides plenty of hiking opportunities.
We occupied all four bedrooms in the main house, each with a separate bathroom and AC-unit. The house has the quaintness and beauty of a historic building while offering all the amenities of a modern home. Everything was very well maintained and spotless. The large garden is full of flowers and trees, the views from the house, the tower and the garden are splendid.
Mr. Rosadi, the owner, made us feel very welcome right from the first minute. His English is excellent and he was very helpful. Thanks again, Rosado!!

The stay at villa Fabbroni was superb! We enjoyed the wonderful view, the great convenience of the apartment we stayed in, and most of all the great hospitality of the owners. On top of all we enjoyed greatly the wonderful meals at the villa's restaurant. Very recommended. Hope we'll have an opportunity to stay at this villa again.

great place. very central to all of Tuscany sites. will stay there again. internet was free and fast. wish the property or booking manager would have highlighted the fact that you should buy your own food for breakfast 'right away'. between early closing and days off, places to buy things late in the day get few and far between. the staff were very helpful and kind. the restaurant chef was generous with portions and lemoncello.

This was a wonderful property and just perfect for me, my two daughters and their two friends. We rented the 3-bedroom apartment for a week in April and found it to be an excellent central location from which to explore the Chianti region, Florence, Arrezo, Sienna, Pisa and other Tuscan towns. The owner Leonardo is very hospitable and helped us plan some of our daily excursions and recommended good places to dine at the end of the day. The property is set in the mountains and is in a peaceful rural location. We found the space was more than sufficient for our needs as we were really only in the apartment at the end of the day since we were using it as a base camp from which to tour. If you just want to rest in the Tuscan sun and take in the vineyards and olive groves, you could be quite happy staying fixed at Castellaccio and reading by the pool and listening to the birds (I saw lots of wildlife on my morning and evening strolls). There is a lovely pool on the property which would be the perfect start and finish of the day (alas we were there in April and it was not as inviting in the cool mountain air of the evenings). If you are planning to have a car and want to be in a remote setting, this is a great place to hide away in the Tuscan countryside but still be well positioned to travel and see many sights. If you aren't cooking for yourself, you want to be aware that you will have to travel 20 minutes or so in most directions to get to places to eat (we found many good options and didn't mind the driving). We would gladly return to Castellaccio and are very pleased with our experience.
