Villa was set in beautiful location and lived up to what the brochure said. The owners were very helpful with advice on what to do and where to go. We stayed in flat 1, my only regret was we didnt book something with our own outdoor dining area. Otherwise kitchen in villa was very well stocked. Very easy access into Figline for train into Florence. Lovely food in local village Duda. Would certainly recommend to families and couples as a holiday destination.

What a stunning place! We were a little bit apprehensive about this reservation as we've not used the site before but we were pleasantly surpised by this villa; it was beautifully decorated and clean, very close to town (1km walking), lovely people who were very welcoming and had a panoramic view of the hills. We will definitely be going back there and would recommend this to anybody who's looking for a quiet, peaceful spot in one of the most beautiful settings in Tuscany.

What a wonderful week spent with friends who booked two of the other appartments in the Villa. The Villa is tucked away on the side of a hill in Northeastern Tuscany. The appartments where clean and bright and beautifully and comfortably decorated. Stefano and Sergio were superb hosts. We dined there twice and the food was delicious, creative and inexpensive.

Le Rondini was so much more than we could ever have expected. The owners, Maurizio, Valeria and Erika were wonderful hosts and did everything possible to make us welcome -- even to the extent of tracking down luggage that the airline lost. They even guided us to the local grocery store which has great produce and cold cuts as well as everything you would expect from a supermarket.
The villa was beautiful and had every convenience that we could require. Even olive oil, condiments and spices were provided -- we imagine that other guests had left some items that they had purchased.
The views from the villa were a delight and made us want to explore the local countryside. Getting lost on the back roads was simply fun. However, a GPS is a requirement. The areas for alfresco dining were perfect - we ate outside at every opportunity and had wine by the pool.
Montopoli is a beautiful village with surprisingly wonderful restaurants and incredible scenery. It was also perfectly located for day trips to Firenze, Pisa, San Gimignano and the coast.
Bottom line -- one of the best holidays we have ever had and in one of the most beautiful places.Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes

We had a wonderful visit and stay in this villa. The owners were fantastic and went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Everything was spotless, the views incredible and it was a perfect, central location to everything in the Tuscan area. Photos below show the hill the Villa is on, views from the pool area and kitchen window. Jet Black sparkling night skies, church bells, night sounds and fresh air. It is a lovely place!

The property was even nicer than the online photos made it appear. It was very well maintained and the atmosphere was relaxed. Even though all of the villas were rented while we were there, we never felt that the place was crowded. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. It was a very peacful place to go. If your trip to Tuscany is specifically to visit several of the wineries of the Chianti Classico region, this villa may be a little too far away (30 - 45 minutes by car from most of them). If your trip is just to visit Tuscany in general with one or two trips to the wineries, the location is excellent.

(September 2010, Tina.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We want to point out that, although it is mentioned that the house is situated near a highway, the noise at night is just not to bear even with closed windows (and then it's badly hot in the apartment). The pool is clean and the complex is big with parking places inside the fence (electric gate). The apartment itself is very simple and in our app. nr. 13 for 6 persons at the arrival there were not enough cups, glasses and plates available. Also the bathrooms leave much to be desired. It is simple ok, but if the water runs out only in a narrow rivulet and the shower head goes on falling down even if untouched, then it is not right. The price in the middle season is ok, but we would not pay very much more for this unit in high season. The distance to the sea is 1.5 km as specified, but it is so if considered in a bee-line, then certainly, but to get the children to a beach, it takes minimum 10 to 15 minutes. For dog owners with no high expectations however the estate is great with greenery and several walking paths all around (September 2010, Tina.Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes

We rented the “Torre del Cielo” from 28 August to 4 September, 7 nights (my wife and I with a baby and a toddler, along with the two (single) brothers and my wife's parents.
We had a truly great and memorable week. The house is ample and charming, the grounds huge and lovely (particularly the pool area, with its gorgeous green surroundings and first-class Tuscany scenery views), and the owner and his parents the sort of warm, decorous and attentive people you want to keep in touch with afterwards. (For example, they learned that my wife had a B-day during the week, and they baked us a delicious traditional pie and brought us a nice bottle of bubbly!)
The near-by little medieval hill-top town, Monterchi, the jewel of the valley in the center of which it sits, is in full view from the house and a few minutes by car. It has a quiet square at the top, with a small tratoria straight out of a culinary dream.
As for the daily excursions around Tuscany and Umbria, within anywhere from half an hour to an hour and a half you can reach a multitude of enchanted destinations that take your breath away (sort of a theme park on the ‘wow’ factor, only REAL and centuries old!)
Since it is mandatory to list at least one complaint, we were expecting to find internet connection at the house, but when we asked about it we were told that the connection was very slow but that there was proper internet available in Monterchi (however the owner told us that there will be ADSL connection available from next season on!!!). As for the lovely pool, the otherwise exquisite balance of sunshine and freshness at the point of the year we stayed there made the water just a touch on the cold side, at least for the little ones (who never the less had a blast around the property and with the swing set installed thoughtfully for young ones).
In conclusion, we want to go back, and we will try to, and of course that is the best recommendation possible.Would you recommend this property to a friend? Yes

We were 4 couples of good friends visiting Tuscany. We got the most wholehearted welcome from the owner, Mr. Rosadi. Italy can be proud to have such an ambassador to promote Italian culture, food, wine and hospitality. We took advantage of the offer to have a chef coming to cook for us. Our only regrets were that we did it only once. Thanks Rosado - you made our holidays perfect.
