Over the past few days we have taken a closer look at the Fattoria Della Nave in our Villa Spotlight. We have discussed the Parco Della Nave, the magnificent forest preserve on the property for the use of the guests.
Yesterday we saw the interiors of two of the buildings on the property, a total of five separate units of this large and luxurious multi-unit villa. Today we will be looking into the Valcellino part of the property, with its own five units: Luigi, Irene, Francesca, Maria Chiara, and the Anna Maria apartments.

Luigi
As a lovely first floor unit that has a gorgeous view of the surrounding area, the Luigi apartment is a great choice for a couple traveling in Italy. It has one double bedroom and a sleeper sofa, with a maximum sleeping capacity of three people. A living room with kitchenette provides a great area for a preparing a fast dinner before leaving for site seeing in any of the nearby tourist towns. Brick tile floors and the wood beam ceilings add to the rustic, country feel of the apartment. It has a private outdoor area with table and chairs for enjoying a drink after dinner, looking out over the Della Nave property.

Irene
Another first floor unit in the Valcellino building, the Irene apartment is larger than the neighboring Luigi.
Irene sleeps a maximum of four people in its double bedroom and double sofa sleeper. It also has a private outdoor area with table and chairs, as well as the similar construction to the Luigi.
Francesca
In the past the Francesca was the home of the farmer and is located on the first floor of the Valcellino. The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with three twin beds. A large kitchen-living room area has a huge ancient fire place still in working condition and if you choose an off-season rental you will be sure to enjoy this feature! The windows have beautiful views of the hills and forests surrounding the property. This unit also has a private outdoor area with table and chairs.

Maria Chiara
The Maria Chiara is another smaller apartment for the couple traveling through Italy, with one double bedroom as well as a single sofa sleeper. As you can see from the picture, the outdoor area has a gorgeous view of the lane on the property, with trees surrounding the area. This is a ground floor apartment, for those who do not like stairs.
Anna Maria
The Anna Maria was once the stable for the villa, but has been renovated into a lovely, cozy apartment rental. The unit has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with three twins beds for a maximum of five people. The Anna Maria has a private outdoor area with table and chairs for your enjoyment.
Terranuova Bracciolini
The Fattoria Della Nave is in Terranuova Bracciolini, a commune in the province of Arezzo. Terranuova lies between Florence and Arezzo and only a few kilometers from the A1. Once its own municipality it was, like most of Tuscany, eventually taken over by Florence. It quickly became an important stronghold for the Florentine military, and from here they dominated much of the Valdarno region. When Napoleon came sweeping through Tuscany, Terranuova repelled his forces and maintained their autonomy. The church of Santa Donato and the Arcipretura di Santa Maria are both beautiful works of art and architecture that you must be sure to see when you visit Terranuova. Each September the city hosts a festival called the "Earth and Table Festival" that is a celebration of the food and drink that is produced in the surrounding areas.
