Our Villa Spotlight is turning once again to the fair city of Montepulciano, well known for its Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. We are looking at the Via Della Stella (Montepulciano 850) (no longer available), a gorgeous three unit farmhouse lies about 15km from the town center of Montepulciano. The smaller brick cottage dates back to the 18th century, while the farmhouse was built in the early 20th century. Both buildings have been renovated and meet modern expectations. On The Premises
The two houses that comprise the Via Della Stella (Montepulciano 850) are located on an estate that grows sunflowers, wheat and grape vines. The villa has a pool that the units share that is 9m by 18m that has a gorgeous view that overlooks the surrounding countryside. There is also a ping-pong table, barbecue, bowl court, playground for kids, a whirlpool. Each unit has its own private outdoor area as well with furnishings and table to enjoy your time under the Tuscan sun! Covered parking is available on the property as well. Mountain bikes are also available on the property. If you are vacationing with your family pet, a small dog is permissible in the rentals. Also the owners of Via Della Stella (Montepulciano 850) can arrange cooking classes if you are interested in learning to cook a few authentic Tuscan dishes.

While the Via Della Stella is close to Montepulciano, its also very nicely situated for vacationing around the rest of Tuscany as well. The property is about 15km from Cortona, 5km from a motorway and 15km from a highway. The famous Lake Trasimeno is about 10km away, and the town of Castiglion del Lago that sits on Trasimeno only 15km. If you want to reach more of the region during your vacation, Montalcino is about 40km away, Siena is roughly 60km, and Florence is 115km.
As far as close amenities, you can find shops about 2km away, a bus stop 1km away, and the Terontola rail station is about 10km away.
If you want to try and get a few rounds of golf in while you are in Montepulciano a 9 hole course is only 15km away and another larger 18 hole course is 20km away. Tennis courts are available only 10km away, and horse riding stables are about the same distance away from the property.
