It originated in the 1940’s in California when surfers were at a loss for what to do when the waves were too flat to surf. Try something new with a thrilling street skating sport called street luging! It’s a gravity powered activity where the racer lies back on a specifically designed skateboard and whizzes down a steep hill.
This is an adrenaline fuelled fast paced sport where speeds of one hundred and sixty kilometres per hours can be reached by the experts. It originated in California when skateboarders discovered that they could travel faster downhill if they lay back on the boards and let gravity and momentum do the rest.
