There are two official itineraries, the Water route and the Architecture route, and these two walks take visitors in a circular path around the Villa (when open), monuments and gardens, introducing you to the beautiful works of art and breathtaking views as you go.
The park features a beautiful Water Theatre, with its fountains, statues, prominent pebble mosaic and more; the world-famous Green Theatre (where the composer Paganini often performed for Elisa Baciocchi); the Viale delle Camelie (The Path of the Camellia), where more than thirty types of camellia flowers burst into life during February, March and April; the Spanish Garden in Art Deco style; the Lemon Garden, with its marble statues depicting Leda and the Swan; the 16th century Villa del Vescovo, with its nymphaeum, named the Grotto of Pan; and the elegant 18th century Palazzina dell’Orologio, with its panoramic loggia.
