When it comes to Mattei Villa itself, you will find it located on a hillside, down a 1200m country lane, through vineyards and olive groves. Extending over a private estate of 2 hectares with greenery all around, the property is peaceful and beautiful, with plenty of space for guests to enjoy. The house, meanwhile, is comprised in part of an old monastery building that dates back a thousand years to the Middle Ages but was totally restored in 2006 and has been carefully modernised. Guests, therefore, can enjoy the atmosphere and charm of a historic and traditional building without compromising on mod-cons and comfort. WIFI is available throughout and the bedrooms all offer air-conditioning plus there are all sorts of considered amenities to impress guests.
The garden is, perhaps, one of the best features of this property, however. Most obviously impressive is the fresh-water infinity swimming pool with integrated Jacuzzi (not a hot tub) measuring 15 by 7.5 meters, which takes in sweeping views, is surrounded sun beds, tables and chairs with umbrellas, and even has its own changing room with a bathroom, including a shower, as well as a well-equipped fitness room.
