We had wonderful holidays at Villa Roberto. The view from the terrace is stunning... we never got tired to watch the beautiful sunset! The private pool was also very nice to have! It was very hot while we were there and we were glad to have it! The inside of the villa is pretty small but practical and we had everything we needed. And we spent most of the time on the terrace or in the backyard. It's also well located: we could easily go to Firenze, San Gimignano, Sienna, Greve in Chianti, etc. The villa provides lot's of intimacy and was perfect for a small family. We travelled with our baby and our wonderful host lent us a babycot and a highchair. The only negative point we could have is that the beds weren't very confortable, but even with this, If we go back to Tuscany again, we would choose the same place.

Lovely location and views with ideal pool for a baby as it has shade. Only thing is it's lacking is a comfortable place to sit so we ended up sitting on the downstairs bed. Another reviewer mentioned this in the guest book 3 years ago! The sofa really isn't great and should be replaced straight away.

Also an information sheet would be useful telling you were local shops are etc although with wifi there is a work around.

Downstairs bedroom also much cooler so we recommend sleeping there.

Of the seven evenings (and days) we spent in the villa we were confronted during two full evenings with very, very loud party-music by people of the villa next to us, a villa of the same owners(!), we were unable to have a normal conversation with one another and the little children could not sleep. We had, during those two evenings, also the unpleasant experience of unknown people walking constantly on the terrain we had rented. A very annoying situation. Therefore, we have no intention to rent the villa again in the future, which otherwise we certainly might have done, nor will we recommend the place to other people. This is why we do an overall rating of average instead of good or even excellent.
