Place/surrounding is great, house is spacious, cleanness is poor. But overall rating taking into consideration nice garden, beautiful view at Montepulciano is satisfactory. Owner doesn't speak English at all and is very difficult to discuss anything.

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Le Gollazzole and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful place to base their Tuscany vacation. The setting is gorgeous and peaceful and the property is pristine. Guido is an excellent host -- friendly, helpful and smart about ways to help guests get the most out of their vacation (Thank you, Guido). The units and the grounds are impeccably maintained and, of course, excellent wine is available on site. The location is convenient to many of Tuscany's sights but is best for those with access to a vehicle since it is several miles outside Siena although bus & taxi service is available. The website information and descriptions accurately reflect the offerings at Le Gollozzole. We would not hesitate to stay there again on a return trip to Tuscany.
