We hadden een heerlijke tijd, de studio was heel goed verzorgd, de eigenaars stonden altijd klaar wanneer we vragen hadden.
Het enige wat we misten, was een terras, want nu moesten we altijd via de voordeur en straat naar de tuin lopen.

The only thing we missed was a terrace, because now we always had to go walk to the garden through the front door and over the street.

Beautifully situated in a secluded part of the Florentine hills, although Florence is very close by the setting is completely rural with views over the northern Chianti Classico region. Very friendly and unobtrusive landlords.

I have just celebrated my birthday in this fantastic villa with my family (10). The villa and surroundings more than lived up to our expectations. The house was comfortable and roomy and we felt at home. Outside there were marvelous views of the Tuscan hills from both the terrace and the pool area, (the pool was cleansed both morning and evening) and a charming girl also checked that the garden area was in order and disposed of any rubbish.The small village of Radicondoli was only a few minutes away and here there were a few well-stocked shops where we could do our daily shopping without having to drive. Remember, the butcher´s is open only in the mornings,though all day Saturday. Shops are closed on Sundays. The villagers were friendly and helpful and it was lovely to be in a place free from mass tourism! An excellent pizzaria just near the villa was also very popular.Our granddaughter enjoyed playing in an excellent park just behind the house. Places like Sienna, Volterra, and San Gimignano are also within easy reach.
All in all, a wonderful holiday and our charming owner, Ilaria and family were on the spot and ready to help if necessary. Only a pity that we could not stay there for another week!

Very good! The house is really big, with spacious rooms, a great balcony, nice garden and all the appliances necessary: stove, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. The owner is really, really nice, but the communication might be a little difficult for those who don't speak Italian at all. The owner was very helpful and our stay was really pleasant. In the summer, although the third floor got hot during the day, it was cool during the night, so it is possible to have a good night's sleep in this part of the house. The ping pong and barbecue grill were a good addition to enjoy the house. When taking shower at the same time in the three bathrooms, the water was not so warm, but since it was summer, we didn't have a problem. But it is something to consider in the winter. In general, it is a great place to rent, really close to Arezzo and other great cities to visit.

Onze ervaringen zijn goed. We zijn zeer tevreden van de goede ontvangst van Silvia en Luigi. Dit zijn warme mensen die heel vlot met hun gasten kunnen omgaan.
De rust, de ligging, de verre zichten zijn ongelooflijk !
We hebben genoten van het grote zwembad. De ligstoelen zijn van iets minder kwaliteit zodat ze dan sneller stuk gaan. Ook de parasols rond het zwembad zijn regelmatig stuk door de regelmatige snel opkomende wind. Misschien is een kleine patio (schaduwterras) hier een oplossing zodat parasols niet meer nodig zouden zijn. De houten planken rond het zwembad zouden dringend een onderhoudsbeurt nodig hebben. Dit zijn maar kleine minpuntjes waar snel aan gewerkt kan worden. Voor de rest was de vakantie op Podere Marronaia SUPER alsook hun heerlijke wijnen !

The rest, the location, the distant views are incredible!
We enjoyed the large pool. The chairs at the pool are of less quality so they quickly brake. The parasols around the pool are regularly broken by the regular burgeoning wind. Perhaps a small patio (shaded terrace) would be a solution so umbrellas would no longer be required. The wooden planks around the pool would urgently require servicing. These are but minor hiccups that can be fixed easily. For the rest, the holiday at Podere Marronaia was SUPER as well as their delicious wines!
