We stayed with 2 families in Casa Bianca in july 2011. A very nice house, spacey and a nice atmosphere. The surroundings are beautiful, the pool very usefull during the hot days and there is enough space around the house. Because the house is in the hills it is very quiet. Nice cities to visit within an hour drive.
The only negative point is that you need the car for everything. There are no shops, bars or restaurants at walking distance.
We had a very nice stay and planning to come back.

We booked this at the very last minute and were very thankful we did! The property is in a very peaceful setting with a wonderful pool and hot tub area. We stayed in "Casa Terra' and it was perfect for a couple. The villa is well located to explore Tuscany- we took our bikes and after the tough ride up the drive the area was amazing to explore! The owners provide an excellent local guide and the restaurant recommended was stunning. We had the cooking lesson on our last night and it was easily the best experience of the holiday- a real Italian meal you help to cook eaten with the family. Many thanks to Marina and Francesco!

We stayed in Scirocco, a lovely two bedroomed apartment, very well laid out clean and all the essentials you need. Barbara and Stefano are excellent hosts, very welcoming and cannot do enough to make your holiday a pleasant stay. Rosa dei Venti is beautiful, lovely suroundings, well kept gardens and swimming pool. The pizza'a that Barabara's mother makes are to die for and we loved Asso the dog who would come to see us each day and loved to play with the children around the pool. Would definately consider visitng again in the future a peaceful and relaxing holiday in a quiet area of Cortona.

The directions to the place in English were wrong (the last and most important step), so we were lostfor an hour! That was not a good beginning. However, the owners are very nice people.The owners were very friendly and the complimentary wine and olive oil were most appreciated. The apartment was just as decsribed, and was quite charming, with a wonderful mini-kitchen. The fan should have been more effective, as there is no AC and it was quite hot at certain times. It's a very central place to stay in Tuscany, once you are able to find your way around. You need a GPS! (and a correct address)
