Review Details:
we found Villa Elisa very accomendating for our family of 9, It was a great location and easy access to the train in Camucia and to Cortona.There were a few small issues, ie american coffee pot was not so good,a few times the hot water would come and go,and the past thru bedroom was difficult.but the gardens, pool and outdoor eating was awesome!!!,we loved drinking our morning coffee outside. one night we fixed an italian style dinner and ate on the big outdoor table. The owner did not speak any english so it was a bit of a challenge when we checked in,however in looking back thats what made our vacation so wonderful. new and different surroundings, kind people, great food and wine. I visited Tuscany with my husband, and we agree that definitily this was the most besutiful trip we have done! We enjoyed stay in a Villa, was a great decision! It was like stay at home, a home in Tuscany! The house was wonderfull and the views amazing! The services of easy reserve was very good, very professional. We are very satisfied!Just one point negative: in our opinion the house was cold inside and we would like to use the heating,unfortunatly it didn't work. Cassia - Belo Horizonte, Brasil

This location was a very good base to visit popular sites of Tuscany like Sienna, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Florence, San Gimignano, Cortona. Montevarchi. There was a very good restaurant within walking distance with great food and wines at a reasonable price, The Cantine. The villa was comfortable but the living quarters were on the small side for five. We found the stairway to the second floor somewhat dangerous for a child. We had a great stay.

We celebrated my retirement and 60th birthday in this beautiful villa with our children and grandchild. We had a marvellous time and I would recommend it without hesitation.The location is beautiful and peaceful, yet close to restaurants and sights. The owners live next door, but were only seen if we had a query.The pool is lovely and everything is provided for. The layout of the rooms allowed privacy . The bathrooms are of a high standard
