Review Details:
We had a lovely stay at the villa in Portole. It was just a short drive up the mountain from Cortona. The view was beautiful. The home was very comfortable and the owner was super nice and accomodating. She greeted us with cookies and a bottle of her own wine. We managed to communicate despite the language barrier. I would definitely recommend staying here.

I can not think of a more perfect setting to relax and unwind. The view was amazing. Marco could not have been more hospitable and he makes an amazing pesto!!! We will definitely be back!

The location was fantastic and property was beautiful. Barbara was wonderful. We could not have asked for anything more. Previous visitors left ideas about places to shop and go. Was the best part of our European vacation!

Villa Caprera was a wonderful place to stay, the feeling of the property retained its old world charm with all the facilities of a modern property. The hosts were gracious and we could not have hoped for better. The location is about 3km from Sienna so a car is necessary.

A lovely property with attention to detail both inside and out.
The location is wonderful with picture postcard views all around and great access to places of interest throughout Tuscany. I cannot thank the owner and his family enough for their hospitality, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Barbara for the assistance you gave my daughter and her fiance with their wedding plans.
