We had a lovely stay at Podere Il Doccio. The house, the grounds, and the pool were all beautiful, nestled in a very scenic area of the Tuscan countryside. What made the stay even better was the kindness of the hosts. They picked us up from the train station, and also drove us to go wine tasting, and then took us to a delightful gelato place very much off the beaten path. Would wholeheartedly recommend staying here; I already wish we were back.

We enjoyed our time at the Villa Tizzauli. The property was beautiful and welcoming. It was close to great restaurants, train station, and many sights. We plan on visiting Tizzauli again.

We loved it! All sixteen of us! It's the best of town and country: the front door opens onto the main street of the small village, and the back has the most glorious vista of Tuscany--and a pool as well. Funky charm and plenty of room for all of us--the eight bedrooms, huge dining room, big kitchen with one prep table, one table to sit around, several living/sitting rooms, lots of bathrooms, a big balcony, and a separate huge terrace. The parking for our four cars was tight, but doable. It would work better with four smaller cars or three mid-size. We definitely recommend it.
