Review Details:
We rented both villas for two weeks in June.

The location was fantastic, very secluded but only a few minutes walk (albeit up a steep hill)to town.

The villas themselves were very clean and practical, and were extremely conmfortable. The views were amazing.

Without a doubt the highlight were Hugo and Lucia, who take care of the property and live there. They were wonderfuly hospitable and made us feel most welcome.

We had a great experienece and would recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

What a great holiday.
Lovely views, fantastic gardens, rustic charm; all set off by really nice owners. Really need to return soon. Our 2 year old loved the pool.

What a wonderful holiday we had at Cortona! The town is just mindblowing and nothing can match a morning espresso in Piazza Republica on your way to panificio. Simone, the owner, is always cheerful and ready to help. The apartment is comfortable and clean. We will come back for sure.

This villa was in an excellent location--just a bus trip into the center of Florence, yet you also felt like you were in the hills. Private setting with very nice gardens and pool. Besides our apartment there were other spaces available for relaxing. We traveled with two college students who wanted to travel to other cities as well, so we were on the road a lot. My husband and I would have liked to spend more time at the villa given the serenity it provided.

We had a terrific 2 week stay at the apartment, using it as a base to explore Tuscany by car. The Bencini family were charming and very welcoming. The Villa exceeded our expectations, recently renovated but retaining it's period features. The bus within 300m of the apartment made Siena very accessible.
