New Review Submitted for Bertagni House located in Castelnuovo Di Garfagnana, Tuscany, Italy.

Rental Date: Thursday 1st of April 2010.
Renter Rating: 5/5.
Review Details:
This property was unbelievable, absolutely furnished beautifully, the views gorgeous, all the apartments were clean and had great access, tv, fantastic kitchen etc. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly, any help or advise was nevery any bother. We were not there in the hot weather, but the pool area would be another plus for summer holiday makers. Could not recomend this property more highly.

Renter Rating: 5/5.
Review Details:
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rio Corso. We had some difficulty finding the property, but once we figured out how we went wrong it was easy. The property was everything we expected and the owner and his son were incredibly helpful and friendly. The Villa was well designed, clean, modern and attractive. Would highly recommend this property.

New Review Submitted for Villa Panzalla: Rustico located in San Polo In Chianti, Tuscany, Italy.

Rental Date: Saturday 10th of April 2010.
Renter Rating: 4/5.
Review Details:
The villa is located on the top of a hill in the south of Florence (20km). The view is very good and the place is very silent.
A car is necessary.
Owners are very helpful and add additional services like bread in the morning or selfmade Pizza.
The appartment itself can become very cold in the night (I was there in April) and so it is necessary to use the fireplace. This is very romantic but is also connected with the smell of fire and ash. Dont wear your good cloth.
The kitchen/dining area/living room is functional. Only the couch is old and not relaxing anymore.

When the weather is beautiful and you dont expect luxury you can have a beautiful stay there. If the weather is not good you are very limited but Florence is not far away and you can visit all the museums.

New Review Submitted for Maria Olga located in Camaiore, Tuscany, Italy.

Rental Date: Saturday 3rd of April 2010.
Renter Rating: 4/5.
Review Details:
Camiore is a lovely town set in a valley - it is well located to make day trips to Pisa, Florence and the lovely Siena. Lido di Camiore is only a few kms away so the beach is very easily accessible also.

The villa itself is quite pretty and I would recommend it. However, it is good to keep in mind that the heating/gas charges have to be paid separately at the villa and the prices are extortionate. We had to pay a whopping 1.05 Euros per KW of power used. We went there in Easter and the villa was absolutely freezing (even though the temperatures outside were very pleasant) – it felt like the villa had been cold/unheated through most of the winter months. We had to turn up the heating significantly to get the villa into a habitable state and paid significantly for the “privilege”. This is quite different to my experience with villas in other locations, and quite underwhelming.

The booking service itself is easy to use – I could book the villa and get information very easily. The team was very responsive to any queries I had as well. A small gripe I have is that I was provided with a 24 hour number that I could contact while in Italy. On the first day there, we tried to call that number but there was no answer.

New Review Submitted for Podere Lucignano: Le Logge located in Gaiole In Chianti, Tuscany, Italy.

Rental Date: Saturday 27th of March 2010.
Renter Rating: 5/5.
Review Details:
Enjoyed stay at Villa. Premises were extremely clean. Weather was a bit chilly and the Tuscan winds were very strong. So strong that it shattered the glass entry door and, as renters, we were responsible for the damages. More warning should have been provided by owners. All we were told was to latch the door to the building when the door was open. We believe owners should have advised to keep door locked even when closed, perhaps door latch was faulty. We feel this incident marred what could have been a wonderful stay.
