The Villa is set on a hill, in a quiet street and on a large block. The views of Montepulciano town from both inside and outside are stunning. The pool was great for relaxing in the heat of the day and there are numerous options for dining outdoors. It is approximately a 25 minute walk from the villa to the entrance of the town. This was fine for us, we did this every day, but may be a stretch for some. The host Alessandro was very accomodative and was available if there were any issues. WIFI was slow and could do with improving and ceiling fans in the bedrooms would also be beneficial. All in all, a lovely place that really meets the "tuscan villa" experience.

Good accommodation and friendly owners. The only downside was the pedestrian path to the village which (assuming we found the right one) went via a concrete bridge with no sides over a stream or gulley. Further down once the path joined the road there was a section where we walked on the road with no pavement under the railway bridge to get to the village. All in all not what we would do when it was dark. So we went to Chiusure when we wanted to eat out, two nice local sort of restaurants, with a stupendous view, both to be recommended.

The house is comfortable enough. Two terraces are wonderful places. The most impressive are views all around.
The keyholders family is helpful and nice. We recommend this place.

Het is een heel fijn huis geschikt voor 14 personen. Alleen de keuken daar valt niet te werken of te koken voor een groot groep mensen zoals wij hadden. De afwasmachine was stuk toen wij aankwamen en toen gerepareerd en nog steeds kapot en niet meer vervangen. Dat was een slechte zaak.

lugliano 2 is very nice and spacious. The owners make you feel welcome from the very beginning. The house is in the middle of a small village but that is something you hardly notice once you close the main gate.
