Dating back to the 12th century and restored in the 17th century by the noble family of Acciaioli, the Castle has a magnificent tower built on the model of the one of Palazzo Vecchio in Florence.
Montegufoni Castle is part of a large estate comprising vineyards and olive trees and is surrounded by the beautiful Chianti landscape. In the castle there are 39 apartments and a large garden with a nice swimming pool: the perfect spot to relax and have fun with your family and friends.
The Chianti Region is one of the most renowned charming area in Italy for its cultural, historical and enogastronomic traditions. This luxurious Castle offers to our guests incredible holiday experiences (on request) such as cooking lessons, event location, guided tours and more!

A bus stop with busses to Florence is only a few meters from the castle away. Bikes and scooters for rent are available in Montespertoli.

The Experience
The house, which is located on the same estate as Le Rondini (also in our program), is surrounded by a very large and well maintained flat garden, where an unusually big pool for such a small house is situated. The pool has a salted water filter system avoiding the use of chlorine. The garden is fenced all around, making it very safe for children, and there is also a children’s play area.
Upon arrival you will be greeted by the owner or manager where you’ll find a lovely clean well-maintained property with views of the hills ideal for a splendid vacation in Tuscany. After a busy day of shopping, spend some time with friends and family poolside enjoying a glass of wine - a perfect way to relax at the end the day. Also available outside are a patio and barbecue grill. Dining with friends and family is a huge part of the Tuscan culture. Take advantage of the well-equipped kitchen to prepare meals using local produce while on your vacation. The kitchen includes coffee machine, toaster, stove and refrigerator, as well as, plenty of tableware and cutlery for up to five people.
