A large grassy expanse houses a rich and varied orchard featuring plums, cherries, peaches, and grapevines, while holm oaks, lime and lemon trees alternate with aromatic herb bushes and climbing roses throughout the garden. On one side of the house, embellished with camellias, rhododendrons, and hydrangeas, a wooden gazebo has been set up as a comfortable sitting area with a table and chairs. Close by, directly in front of the dining room French window, a wood oven and mobile barbecue invite al fresco cooking and leisurely outdoor dining. At the centre of the garden, framed by 2 majestic weeping willows edged with white roses, a large wooden portico structure draped in porcelain vine and furnished with a table and benches provides the ideal shaded outdoor living area. A wooden structure beneath the portico, accessible from the outside, houses the laundry room. The non-heated swimming pool, reserved exclusively for the use of guests, is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October. Located in a central area of the park approximately 40 metres from the house and reached by 4 stone steps, the rectangular pool features a stone border, PVC lining, and Roman steps for water access. It measures 5 x 10 metres with a depth ranging from 0.70 to 1.90 metres, and is equipped with a chlorine purification system and an outdoor cold-water shower. The surrounding lawn includes a generously sized sunbathing area furnished with sunbeds and deckchairs, bordered by plants and abundant blooms and connected via a wooden walkway to a further lawn area ideal for children's play. A large umbrella and an iron gazebo covered with climbing roses, arranged as a small lounge with 4 armchairs and a coffee table, complete the pool area. Lighting is provided both inside the pool and throughout the surrounding grounds. La Casa nel Borgo is located in the ancient hamlet of Cantalena Alta and is now part of an almost completely restored rural complex consisting of 6 small houses, where efforts have been made to keep alive the ancient traditions and times gone by, using stone in the restoration along with original reclaimed materials.
A road that climbs through green woods and breathtaking views will lead you to La Casa nel Borgo. The first time it may seem a little challenging, but as soon as you arrive at your destination you will be rewarded with absolute peace, stunning views, unspoilt spaces and unforgettable sunsets. The place is your paradise if you are a nature lover, surrounded by cool green forests and inhabited by local wildlife. It is not difficult, on summer evenings, to come across friendly hares, porcupines, roe deer or fallow deer.
The small hamlet has a beautiful panoramic swimming pool (10x5 mt, depth 1.20-1.60 mt - open from 17 May to 27 September) completely fenced and with a Roman steps, which is about 100 metres from your house and in common use with the other guests. In the solarium you will have your own private area with 4 sun beds and a sun umbrella, where you can spend your lazy days by the pool. The house also has a private, shaded area with a table and chairs, where you can enjoy your meals in the peace of the cobbled alley.
The house is equipped with all the necessary comforts, furnished in rustic style, reminiscent of the rural homes of our grandparents, the beamed ceilings (the size of some of the doors are quite small), the terracotta floors, the old marble sink... we can assure you that spending your holiday here will be a real plunge into the past!
The little house, in our opinion, is ideal for couples, even with children; if you wish to get away from it all, it will become your favourite place, you will only be disturbed by birdsong, and in the morning you will wake up to a wonderful view to greet you. At Casa nel Borgo quiet, tranquillity and the slow, lazy flow of the days will be the watchwords of your holiday. The nearest shops are in Castiglion Fiorentino, about 15 km away. And about 9 km away, in the lttle village of Santa Cristina, you will find a small grocery shop and a Tuscan restaurant. If you decide to spend your vacation at Fattoria Le Chianacce you will find yourself immersed in the green Tuscan countryside, between Arezzo and Siena, overlooking the Valdichiana hills that mark the border between the two provinces.
Le Chianacce farm was founded in the last century and was aimed at raising the prized beef and pork that has always been produced in this area. The owner wanted to recover a part of it, leaving it completely identical to the original construction and equipping it with simple and essential furnishings, which will bring you back to the warm atmospheres of times gone by.
Near the farm you will find the small village of Farneta with the eponymous Abbey of Romanesque origin, which is definitely worth a visit. Because of its strategic location, from the house you can easily reach all the most important art cities and tourist resorts of central Italy.
Only 7 km away you will find the characteristic town of Foiano della Chiana, with its red brick buildings, perched on a green hillock. In Foiano there are all the necessary services, restaurants and trattorias where you can enjoy typical dishes and local wines, supermarkets, stores, pharmacies. If you love shopping, a few kilometers away, you will also find the Valdichiana Village.
The Farm has six apartments, four of which are available to guests, and two inhabited by the owners. At your disposal is a common room with television, laundry, bicycles, ping-pong table and outdoor space equipped with garden furniture and barbecue, where you can enjoy the sun and beautiful summer days.

Torretta is a splendid antique property, located on the top of a nice hill next to the Medieval town of Cortona. Being surrounded by oak-trees and olive-trees, you can appreciate the Tuscan country side. What makes the property unique is, on one side, it's splendid panoramic position overlooking the entire Valdichiana valley, and on the other, the circular tower with a roof made of stone tiles built in the 16th century, which through the ages has been transformed into a windmill. The country house built in the 18th century has recovered its beautiful antique splendour thanks to the accurate restoration of the owners, who found the perfect balance between the old and the new, rendering your stay as pleasant as possible. Interior
The country house made out of stone, has a characteristic external loggia and is divided into two levels. On the ground floor you will find the small kitchen, which overlooks the well kept garden and offers you a wonderful view. From the kitchen one has access to the spacious dining room, with a big stone ornamental fire-place and equipped with antique furniture, that is extremely functional. The living room has an ornamental fire-place, sofas and TV, are inserted in an ambience with large wooden beams and big windows that enable you to admire the panorama. On the same floor you'll find two bedrooms which are comunicating (one double and one twin), both with an adjoining bathroom. Both the double and the twin have direct access into the garden, but can not be accesed from the outside of the property. A characteristic loggia, can be reached by a beautiful stone staircase, accessing the first floor. This floor is made up of comfortable living room you will find a large ornamental fire-place and curious niches in the walls. It is relaxing and comfortable at the same time decorated with typical Tuscan colours and ardent terracotta pavement. From the living room there are two double bedrooms with wrought iron beds and antique wardrobes, one bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and the other bedroom has an adjacent bathroom. TOWER: The tower has a round form and still preserves pieces of stone pavement and characteristic spiral stairs. At the ground floor you will find a tiny reading-room and a delightful bathroom. By taking the spiral stairs you can enter the master bedroom. This bedroom has very old embrasured windows, an original wardrobe and an iron bed.

The garden, of approximately 5.000 m² is well maintained and delimited by a wooden fence, and is in perfect harmony with the Mediterranean vegetation which surrounds the property. The total estate of the property encloses 4,2 hectares, which ensures complete privacy.

The fenced wimming pool, open from the last Saturday of April to the first saturday of October, is situated at a terrace bounded by a wall made out of stone, measures 4 x 8 m with a depth varying from 1.10 to 1.90 m, a sunbathing area with furnishings. From here there is an absolute unique view of the surrounding nature. The pool area is furnished also with a stone barbecue.

All around the farm a large green space where each house has its own private corner with a gazebo equipped with table and chairs. This will be your favourite place on warm summer evenings, chatting with friends and a good bottle of red wine. Le Antiche Pietre is a beautiful recently renovated farmhouse set within a farmhouse and a natural park, which stands on the Tuoro hill overlooking Lake Trasimeno. The renovation has been treated in detail to provide the greatest possible comfort to guests. The property is characterized by a breathtaking position and by the presence of dry stone walls that delimit the terraces of the garden. Interior:
The farmhouse is spread over 2 floors and is furnished in a very functional way. The main entrance leads into the large living room furnished with sofas and a large wooden table. The living room leads to the fully equipped kitchen, to a double bedroom (divisible bed), with bathroom with shower and washing machine. The first floor can only be reached externally with a stone staircase or with two comfortable ramps that start from the garden. From the veranda, complete with kitchen, dining area and outdoor living area, located on this floor, there is direct access to the living room with fireplace and to the kitchen / dining room. From the living room two corridors lead to the sleeping area. On the right there are two double bedrooms each with en suite bathroom with shower, one of which is suitable for disabled people, while the other corridor leads us to a double bedroom, a double bedroom and a further bathroom with shower.

Park:
The property extends for about 12 hectares and is characterized by the presence of olive trees and woods. The area surrounding the property is cultivated with terraced lawn until it reaches the swimming pool area. The large veranda overlooking Lake Trasimeno, an ideal place for outdoor dining and which completes the outdoor area of the property, is equipped with a full built-in kitchen, barbecue, dining area with tables and chairs and a relaxation area with sofas and coffee table. The parking area, with ten uncovered parking spaces, is located above the building at the end of the avenue.NB: It should be noted that the photo shoots are usually made in spring, therefore the colors and blooms of the gardens, lawns and parks may be different at the time of your entry into the villa.
Pool:
The fenced pool is about 20 meters from the house and is accessed via a staircase or ramp. It measures 5 x 13 m with a constant depth of 1.40 m, has access to the pool via steps and is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. The surrounding area is fenced and equipped with deck chairs, sun loungers and parasols. A characteristic external shower is also available for guests. Access to the fenced pool is via two gates. About 5 meters away from the outdoor kitchen there is a 6-seat heated whirlpool tub.
Pets: Small pets on request and short-haired. Acceptance of animals to the facility must be previously authorised by the owner upon communication of the number of animals, size and breed.
