A few steps from the house and immersed among the olive trees is the completely fenced swimming pool for your exclusive use (size 5x10 m - depth 1.10-1.50 m - open from 01st May to 30th September), a green oasis for your summer days. In front of the house you will have a large fenced-in courtyard equipped with a table and chairs on the nice porch, where you can enjoy grills and good local wine. Villa Cerretalta is in a wonderful position on a small hill surrounded by Brunello vineyards, within the national park of Val D'Orcia. The 7 bedroom, 6 bath property is set between the cities of Montalcino and San Quirico D'Orcia (both are about 10 km away), yet in few minutes you can reach the little town of Torrenieri (5 km) where you can find the nearest shops, supermarket and restaurants.
The owner occasionally uses the independent building nearby and whilst respecting your privacy will be at your disposal if you should need any help.
Cerretalta is completely surrounded by hedges and fences to guarantee total privacy. Nonetheless, you have a wonderful sight over the countryside.
Once you enter the gateway, there is a large courtyard plenty of tables and chairs at guests’ disposal as well as the brick barbeque. Across the court there is a lovely area with a big round stone table and matching benches sheltered from the sun by a pergola. Here there is also a second way out from the property, down a stone staircase and through a small iron gate.
There are two garden areas.
The first one is bordered by mature trees, should the guests enjoy a peaceful shady lawn, and it is situated next to a white travertine floored space with tables, chairs and parasol. This is the perfect location where you can have your meals, while taking in the beautiful view over the surrounding farmland.
From here, few stone steps lead to the second garden that is located near the poolside. A small gate possibly delimits the way so as to prevent little children from reaching the swimming-pool area without permission. Some fruit trees, flowers and shrubs brighten the place and there is also a gazebo with table and chairs. An extensive hedge marks the limits of the patch.

Guests benefit from complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property, and private parking is available on-site for up to 6 vehicles, ensuring complete convenience from arrival to departure. The expansive yard, encompassing approximately 3,000 square metres of terraced gardens and an olive grove of around one hectare, provides a serene and private setting that is reserved exclusively for guests. The owner resides discreetly in a separate wing on the ground floor with an independent entrance and does not make use of the garden or pool, which remain entirely at your disposal throughout your stay.
Outdoors
The outdoor spaces of Villa Treggiaia are as remarkable as its interior, offering a succession of beautifully landscaped terraces that unfold across two levels. On the upper terrace, a lawned area directly outside the villa provides an ideal setting for relaxation, centred around a pergola-covered dining area that is perfect for alfresco meals in the shade. A few steps lead down to the lower terrace, where the swimming pool takes pride of place within a fully fenced enclosure approximately 20 metres from the villa. The pool is non-heated, rectangular in shape, and measures 12 by 5 metres with a constant depth of 1.40 metres. It is lined in light-coloured PVC and maintained with chlorine purification, accessible via a metal ladder. The surrounding solarium is paved in terracotta and furnished with sunbeds, while a gazebo shaded by jasmine provides a charming spot with a table and chairs for leisurely afternoons. Mediterranean vegetation, ancient olive trees, and open views across the Tuscan countryside complete this peaceful outdoor sanctuary. Both internal and garden lighting are activated automatically via a twilight sensor. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. Please be aware that photographs of the property were taken in spring, and therefore the blossoming of flowers and the colour of the garden grass may differ from what you observe upon arrival.

Villa Treggiaia is a generously proportioned historic residence spread across two principal floors and an additional tower, comfortably accommodating up to 14 guests across 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. On the ground floor, you are welcomed by an entrance hall that leads to a living room with a French window opening onto the garden, a double bedroom, a guest bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a further double bedroom featuring a loft bed and a separate outdoor access point. The mezzanine floor offers an additional guest bathroom and access to the tower, which is not suitable for children, elderly guests, or those with reduced mobility. This level also includes a kitchenette, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with shower, reached via a further staircase with steep and narrow steps. The first floor is the most expansive level, featuring a living area that opens onto a panoramic veranda, and an open-plan dining room complete with a fireplace, a kitchenette, and a balcony. This floor houses 2 double bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom with shower, 1 double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom featuring both a shower and a bathtub, and 1 twin bedroom with joinable beds. A further bathroom with shower and bathtub, which also contains the washing machine, serves this floor. Air conditioning is available in the bedrooms, the living room, and the dining rooms.

This guarantee also includes EuropAssistance coverage in the event of accidental damage to the property during your stay, up to a maximum of 1,500 euros and subject to the limitations provided by the policy. The rental rate includes utilities covering electricity, water, gas for kitchen use and hot water, as well as weekly linen changes and both initial and final cleaning of the property.
