Today, the fully renovated villa masterfully blends historic architectural details — including original terracotta floors and traditional Tuscan design — with modern, designer furnishings in bright, neutral tones. Spanning approximately 360 sqm across 2 floors and divided into 4 independent housing units, Villa Iole is ideally suited for couples, families, and groups of friends who wish to enjoy both privacy and conviviality in an exclusive setting. When the property is rented as a whole, no other guests will be present on site. The estate extends across approximately 20,000 sqm, partially fenced, and features a generous yard with large areas of natural lawn, a small wood, and an olive grove. A gravel driveway lined with cypress trees leads gracefully to the villa and its dedicated parking area. Rectangular in shape, it measures 14 x 7 metres with a depth of 1.50 metres, and is lined in natural stone with Roman steps for access and internal lighting. The pool features both chlorine and salt purification systems and is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. The surrounding solarium area is paved in natural grey stone and equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, while 2 gazebos with lounge seating and a table are set on the lawn nearby. A cold-water outdoor shower completes the pool area. In front of the annex and overlooking the pool, a portico furnished with sofas and tables offers the perfect vantage point for enjoying an aperitif at sunset. Nice property with pool situated near the beautiful medieval hamlet of San Donato in Poggio, half-way between Florence and Siena. This property comprises 2 comfortable apartments all of which recently restored and tastefully furnished. Beautiful vineyards and olive groves surround the estate and produce excellent Chianti Classico wine and olive oil (available for the clients to be tasted and purchased). This property is situated among green hills but at the same time it is very close to the small town of San Donato (walking distance) offering nice restaurants, pizzerias and all main services.
The access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road suitable for any kind of car.
Distances: San Donato in Poggio with all kinds of shops 500 m away, Greve in Chianti 15 km, the charming medieval town of San Gimignano 18 km, Florence 20 km, Siena 35 km away, Pisa (airport) 95 km away, Arezzo approx. 100 km, Cortona 140 km away. Rome is approx. 300 km away.
