The surrounding garden, with its footpaths tracing the entire perimeter of the villa, completes a setting where comfort, authenticity, and breathtaking scenery come together in perfect harmony.
Outdoors
The outdoor spaces of Villino Ariachiara are thoughtfully designed to make the most of the extraordinary Tuscan landscape. From the covered parking area, a natural wood solarium terrace of approximately 70 sq m leads to the swimming pool, which enjoys a panoramic view over the Val di Cecina. The pool is rectangular, measuring 6 x 3 m with a constant depth of 1.20 m, lined in PVC and equipped with a chlorine purification system and a metal ladder for access. It is non-heated and open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. The surrounding terrace is furnished with sunbeds, umbrellas, and a cold-water shower, creating an ideal space for relaxation in the sun. On the opposite side of the villa, a panoramic terrace overlooks the Val di Cecina, offering sweeping views of the valley below. The main portico, directly connected to the kitchen and living room through 2 French windows, is equipped with a dining table and is perfectly suited for outdoor meals in the shade. Opposite the portico, a dedicated barbecue area features a traditional brick oven. Gravel paths and paved walkways wind through the property, and a second manually-opening gate leads to a panoramic hillock from which you can admire Volterra and its ancient walls. Please note that the property photographs were taken in spring, so the appearance of the garden, including flower blossoming and grass colour, may differ at the time of your arrival.

Villino Ariachiara is configured to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests across 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, spread over 2 levels connected by an internal staircase in steel and wood. The ground floor covers approximately 51 sq m and comprises the main entrance, a modern kitchen with a central island and direct access to the outdoor portico, a large living room with an ornamental fireplace, a sitting area, and a dining table. This floor also includes a bathroom with shower and a dedicated laundry room. The first floor, covering approximately 40 sq m, hosts 2 double bedrooms, one of which has direct access to the garden, and a single bedroom featuring a 1.20 m wide bed with an additional single sofa bed. A second bathroom with shower serves this floor. Air conditioning is available in all bedrooms.

This guarantee includes EuropAssistance coverage in the event of accidental damage to the property during your stay, up to a maximum of 1,500.00 and subject to the limitations provided by the policy. Pets of small size are accepted at the property, limited to 1 animal. Acceptance must be previously authorized by the owner, who must be informed in advance of the number of animals, their size, and breed. Beautiful house dating back to the end of the 18th century comprising 6 welcoming apartments. This property is situated on the hills surrounding Volterra and enjoys amazing views of the Tuscan landscape. All of the 6 units have been recently restored and are furnished in a rustic Tuscan style. The well-groomed outside areas provide gazebos, nice paths, fruit trees and a large pool with open-air shower and sun-beds. The property owners, who are very friendly people, live only a short distance away.
The access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road.
Distances: Volterra con general stores 10 km away, the beautiful medieval town of San Gimignano 18 km, Pisa (airport) approx. 60 km away, Florence approx. 70 km away.
The beaches of Cecina are in a 1-hour drive.
At guests’ disposal: large furnished garden with swimming-pool (15 x 7 m – depth 1,2 m), open-air shower (cold water), changing room with bathroom, shared barbecue.
A small spa with Jacuzzi bathtub (for 4/6 people), 2 massaging armchairs and changing room (with shower) is available at € 10,- / per entrance / per person (reservation requested).

Calanchi Residence is a small tourist complex with a large garden, a swimming pool for adults, a swimming pool for children and a wonderful view of the surrounding hills.
The Residence, consisting of two houses for a total of 15 apartments, is located a stone's throw from the small medieval village called Sughera, in the municipality of Montaione (FI) in a very central position with respect to the main tourist destinations and attractions of Tuscany: halfway between the legendary towers of San Gimignano and the medieval charm of Certaldo, yet not too far from the art cities of Florence (59 km), Pisa (57 km), Siena (65 km), and Volterra (33 km).
For this reason Calanchi Residence is perfect as a base for various excursions in Tuscany, all reachable in about 1 hour by car.
Each apartment has an independent entrance and a covered outdoor area.
The apartments offer 3 to 5 beds, two bathrooms, large living room / kitchen with double sofa bed (on request), well-equipped kitchen, satellite TV, fridge, freeezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, WI-FI, mosquito nets, air conditioning.
Three apartments have a private fenced garden, ideal for those travelling with 4-legged friends.
