Podere Capanne is a portion of an old farmhouse set in the hills overlooking the charming medieval village of Rigomagno and much of the wide Chiana Valley. Villa Gioiosa is an old stone house that once belonged to the nearby Benedictine monastery and was used by the monks as a chestnut dryer, of which the surrounding woods are rich. Today the house has been completely restored, maintaining the characteristics of the old Tuscan farmhouse, both in the architectural features and in the furnishings, enriched with local antiques.
