The pool is rectangular, measuring 6 x 3 m with a constant depth of 1.20 m, lined in PVC and equipped with a chlorine purification system and a metal ladder for access. It is non-heated and open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October. The surrounding terrace is furnished with sunbeds, umbrellas, and a cold-water shower, creating an ideal space for relaxation in the sun. On the opposite side of the villa, a panoramic terrace overlooks the Val di Cecina, offering sweeping views of the valley below. The main portico, directly connected to the kitchen and living room through 2 French windows, is equipped with a dining table and is perfectly suited for outdoor meals in the shade. Opposite the portico, a dedicated barbecue area features a traditional brick oven. Gravel paths and paved walkways wind through the property, and a second manually-opening gate leads to a panoramic hillock from which you can admire Volterra and its ancient walls. Please note that the property photographs were taken in spring, so the appearance of the garden, including flower blossoming and grass colour, may differ at the time of your arrival.

The first floor, covering approximately 40 sq m, hosts 2 double bedrooms, one of which has direct access to the garden, and a single bedroom featuring a 1.20 m wide bed with an additional single sofa bed. Beautiful house dating back to the end of the 18th century comprising 6 welcoming apartments. This property is situated on the hills surrounding Volterra and enjoys amazing views of the Tuscan landscape. All of the 6 units have been recently restored and are furnished in a rustic Tuscan style. The well-groomed outside areas provide gazebos, nice paths, fruit trees and a large pool with open-air shower and sun-beds. The property owners, who are very friendly people, live only a short distance away.
The access to the property is via an unpaved but well-maintained road.
Distances: Volterra con general stores 10 km away, the beautiful medieval town of San Gimignano 18 km, Pisa (airport) approx. 60 km away, Florence approx. 70 km away.
The beaches of Cecina are in a 1-hour drive.
At guests’ disposal: large furnished garden with swimming-pool (15 x 7 m – depth 1,2 m), open-air shower (cold water), changing room with bathroom, shared barbecue.
