For your lazy summer days the beautiful swimming pool completely fenced and for your exclusive use (size mt. 6x12, depth mt. 1,20-1,50 - open from 16 May to 30th September) will be the ideal place also for your evening aperitifs, relaxed in the gazebo, with a good red wine in your glass and with the lights of Castiglion Fiorentino, which climbs up the hill, as a backdrop.
For children there is a large green outdoor space to explore with a five-a-side football goal for fun times with friends. A small town of steep, paved alleyways, ancient buildings, stone stairways and arches and mighty walls dominated by the imposing Cassero tower, guarding the valley. Villa Gioiosa is an old stone house that once belonged to the nearby Benedictine monastery and was used by the monks as a chestnut dryer, of which the surrounding woods are rich. Today the house has been completely restored, maintaining the characteristics of the old Tuscan farmhouse, both in the architectural features and in the furnishings, enriched with local antiques.
