Belvedere is a stunning villa located 4 km from Greve in Chianti that has been recently renovated. The villa is surrounded by trees, fields, and vineyards, providing a peaceful and secluded atmosphere. The villa is situated in an elevated position, offering a sunny view of the countryside. The villa is conveniently located near various attractions, including the center of Greve in Chianti located 4.5 km away, Panzano which is 7 km away, and Florence, which is 30 km away.

Belvedere offers a private, well-kept terraced garden that spans 1,000 m2 and is fenced for privacy. The garden includes a lovely lawn and a variety of trees. The villa also features a beautiful, seasonal swimming pool with an internal staircase that measures 9 x 5 meters. Guests can enjoy the outdoor shower, terrace, garden furniture, and barbecue. The owner/gardener provides pool maintenance. The villa is accessible via a bumpy and steep 1.3 km long motor access, which might pose a challenge for some guests. Parking is available on the premises.

Interior Description

Belvedere is a spacious and bright 5-room villa, covering 175 m2 on three levels, that can accommodate up to 8 adults and 2 children. The villa has been recently renovated and is beautifully and tastefully furnished.

The large living room boasts an open-hearth fireplace and a flat-screen satellite TV. There are two double bedrooms, and the kitchen is equipped with an oven, dishwasher, 5 gas rings, toaster, kettle, freezer, and electric coffee machine. The kitchen also has a dining table and an exit to the terrace and swimming pool.

The villa has a bath/shower/bidet/WC, and the lower ground floor features a large double bedroom with a double sofa bed and a shower/bidet/WC. This bedroom has an exit to the garden.

The upper floor has a room with sloping ceilings and a panoramic window with two beds measuring 80 cm each. This room also has a shower/bidet/WC and an exit to the balcony.

The villa is equipped with gas heating and has natural stone floors. The furnishings are comfortable and in the country house style. There are three terraces, a balcony, and a porch. The outdoor area is furnished with terrace furniture, a barbecue, and deck chairs.

Belvedere offers a marvellous panoramic view of the countryside and is suitable for families. It is a non-smoking villa, and only one pet/dog is allowed. There are no mandatory extra charges to be paid on-site except for local tax. Bed linen, towels, final cleaning, and all energy costs are included in the price.

The villa also has facilities such as a washing machine and a hairdryer. Reserved parking is available for guests.

Vignamaggio is an historical wine estate in Tuscany which has been producing and selling wine since 1404. It is located in the hills between Greve in Chianti and Lamole, in the heart of the Chianti Classico. It is also often attributed as the birthplace of the sitter from Leonardo's Mona Lisa. The Chianti region does not have clearly distinguishable boundaries based on morfological, geographical or climatic criteria. The only unifying element of the region is the production of a high quality red wine since the 12th century. The name, which comes from the Etruscan "Clante-i", was mentioned for the first time in documents from the 8th century in defining the territories of the ancient Lega (League), the administrative district that included the current communities of Radda, Gaiole and Castellina.

In 1932 the Chianti wine area was completely re-drawn and divided in seven sub-areas: Classico, Colli Aretini, Colli Fiorentini, Colline Pisane, Colli Senesi, Montalbano and Rùfina. In 1996 part of the Colli Fiorentini sub-area was renamed Montespertoli.
