Outdoors

The outdoor spaces of Villa Elsa are thoughtfully designed to make the most of the surrounding natural landscape. At the front of the villa, a brick-built portico provides a charming covered dining area directly connected to both the kitchen and the living room, creating a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor living. The level garden surrounding the property extends to approximately 500 square metres of fenced lawn, with chestnut trees planted throughout to create natural privacy and shaded areas ideal for relaxation. Please note that the photographs of the garden were taken in spring, and therefore the flowering and colour of the grass may differ from what you will find upon your arrival. At the rear of the house, the non-heated swimming pool is a true centrepiece of the outdoor experience. Rectangular in shape, it measures 12 by 5 metres, with a depth ranging from 1.50 to 2.5 metres. Lined in light-blue PVC and equipped with chlorine purification and a ladder for water access, the pool features stone-bordered edges and stone-paved sunbathing areas furnished with sunbeds, deckchairs, and umbrellas. The pool is accessible from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October, and can also be reached directly from the ground floor bedroom.

Unit Layout

Villa Elsa is a two-storey rural stone house configured to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests across 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main entrance on the ground floor opens through a glass door into a large and bright living room, which features a corner bar, a cosy dining area, and a relaxation and TV area complete with an ornamental fireplace. To the left of the living room, a beautifully appointed semi built-in kitchen, typical of the Lunigiana tradition, is fitted with a marble sink and worktop and offers direct access to the portico and outdoor dining area. Also on the ground floor, a dedicated laundry area adjoins the living space, alongside the first large double bedroom, which benefits from direct access to the pool area and is served by a bathroom equipped with a whirlpool tub. A grand marble staircase leads from the living room to the upper floor, where the sleeping area comprises a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both served by a shared bathroom with shower.

Other Information

Villa Elsa welcomes pets, with a maximum of 1 animal per reservation permitted, and the animal must be of small size. An additional cleaning fee applies per animal per reservation. The weekly provision of linen is included in the rental price, along with initial and final cleaning of the property. The rental price also covers utilities including electricity, water, and gas for kitchen use. A Zer0Dep Guarantee is applied to all bookings, meaning you are not required to pay a security deposit either on balance or upon arrival.
