The property is enveloped by approximately 1,500 square metres of enclosed terraced grounds planted with Mediterranean scrub, olive trees, and flowering bushes, offering a lush and private retreat. A private parking area for 2 cars, shaded by a reed canopy, is located just outside the property, ensuring convenient arrival and departure. Wireless internet connectivity is available throughout the villa, keeping you effortlessly connected during your stay. The surrounding yard provides a generous and beautifully landscaped outdoor environment where nature, comfort, and style come together seamlessly.

Outdoors

The outdoor spaces of Villa Althaea are thoughtfully designed to make the most of the property's elevated position and sea views. From the pedestrian gate, terracotta steps lead up to the main entrance and to a series of shaded outdoor areas that invite relaxation and alfresco dining. A portico furnished as a lounge offers a comfortable shaded retreat, while a pergola dining area equipped with a built-in barbecue provides the perfect setting for outdoor meals. Both spaces overlook the pool and the sea beyond, creating an atmosphere of effortless elegance. The garden is laid to lawn and bordered by hedges and stone walls, with Mediterranean scrub, olive trees, and flowering bushes adding colour and fragrance throughout the seasons. Please note that photographs of the property were taken in spring, so the appearance of the garden, including the blossoming of flowers and the colour of the grass, may differ at the time of your arrival.

The non-heated swimming pool is positioned on a lower terrace just 4 metres from the villa, directly facing the sea. Rectangular in shape, it measures 10 x 4 metres with a depth ranging from 0.80 metres to 2.60 metres. The pool is lined in pale blue PVC with a terracotta border and accessed via five semicircular Roman steps. It features chlorine purification and internal lighting. The surrounding solarium is paved in non-slip terracotta and furnished with sunbeds, umbrellas, outdoor furniture, and a hot-water shower. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.

Unit Layout

Villa Althaea accommodates up to 6 guests across 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, distributed over 2 levels connected by an external staircase. On the ground floor, the entrance is reached via 5 terracotta steps leading to a portico, which opens into a large open-plan living room featuring a dining table, sofa, and television, all enjoying a beautiful sea view. The fully equipped kitchen also benefits from sea views and offers direct access to the pergola dining area with its built-in barbecue. Also on the ground floor are 2 bedrooms: one double bedroom and one twin bedroom with bunk beds, both of which have direct access to the garden. A bathroom with shower serves these bedrooms on this level. On the lower floor, a third double bedroom with an independent entrance is accompanied by an en-suite bathroom with shower, ensuring privacy and comfort. A technical room housing the washing machine is also located on this level, accessible from outside. Please note that the fireplace present in the villa is ornamental.

A private parking area for 2 cars is located just outside the property, shaded by a reed canopy. The Zer0Dep Guarantee applies to this rental, meaning guests are not required to pay a security deposit either on balance or upon arrival.
