The Villa Torre a Cona is composed of 9 apartments for total sleeping capacity of 45 people and it is set on a hilltop in the heart of the Florentine hills, with a stunning views over the surrounding countryside. It is an imposing 18th century villa with a clock tower, and one of the most sumptuous residences in Tuscany.

The estate extends over 200 hectares of vineyards and olive trees and from almost every point you can get an enchanting view of the surrounding countryside until the mountains of Vallombrosa. The farm maintains tracts of woodland in order to respect the natural ecosystem and the Tuscan landscape. For this reason it is easy see pheasant, hares, partridges, roe deer in woods and cultivated land.

Fattoria Torre a Cona produces its own Chianti Colli Fiorentini D.O.C.G., Vin Santo del Chianti D.O.C - a fine dessert wine, and a high quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Visits to the wine cellars and oil mill and wine tasting for groups can be arranged. Some rural houses on the property have been carefully restored maintaining classic Tuscan rustic style and converted into comfortable guest houses.

Each guest house has exposed wooden beam ceilings and terracotta floors and have been tastefully furnished with antiques and using fabrics of designers.

Torre a Cona it is situated in a strategic location, ideal if you want to stay in beautiful rural surroundings while making the most of the galleries and museums of Florence and other Tuscan cities such as: Arezzo, Siena, Pisa, Volterra, Greve in Chianti, San Gimignano, and Monteriggioni. For this reason the Torre a Cona is an ideal base from which to visit Tuscany. In Torre a Cona there is a reception service that takes care of the guest houses, and offer advice about places to visit, and things to do, such have an unforgettable holiday.

At guests disposal:
Swimming pool: open from 1 June until 30 September (dimensions mt. 9x8 – h. 1,35). The swimming pool is situated in a former water mill in a very attractive location about 200mt far from houses. It's private for guests and shared from all the houses.
Chianti wine and Extra Virgin Olive Oil sold on site.

Each house is set in a green and quiet countryside and has: heating, a well equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, private shaded outdoor sitting area with garden furniture and barbecue.
