Property Description
This is a charming and rather unique apartment located in the old castle of Porto Ercole, whose origins date back to the 1600’s. Situated within an ancient palazzo, the property is considered one of the most beautiful that Porto Ercole has to offer and one of the last of its kind in terms of history and originality. Easy access from the back of the property opens onto the ground floor and from the front there is a beautiful view of the town. Just a few steps from the rental and you have direct access to the harbour below.
Adding to the uniqueness of this property is its large courtyard, with an ancient well and a stone barbecue. A fantastic elevated corner-lookout provides a postcard-perfect panorama of the sea. Via ancient steps, you can climb a few meters higher until you reach the historic symbol of the old hamlet, the clock tower.
The rental is comfortably furnished and from the living room you will find a beautiful terrace that overlooks the harbour.
Porto Ercole is a famous destination of the Monte Argentario promontory and in the vicinity you can find both serviced and free beaches.
The beautiful (serviced and free) beaches of "Feniglia" are approx. 4 km away.

Beautiful view and great location with easy access to the lively harbour. The appartment is very practical and has a lot of charm. On the down side, can be noisy and a bit distant from the beaches.
