Exceeded our expectations. Our accommodations were exactly as advertised. Stefania and Valentina provided us with excellent concierge service. Great value for the price.

This is a difficult property to rate. The house is beautifully designed, well-equipped and is extremely well-tended. But - it is very small (the pictures suggest it is larger than it actually is), the access road is challenging (we had a small SUV and my husband, an accomplished driver, still had difficulty navigating the steep switchbacks) and it was unpleasant being outside because of the numerous stink bugs which landed on us regularly and were frequently getting into the house. As there were only two of us, we were comfortable inside in inclement weather, but the sitting area would be too small for larger parties.

Villa Lorian is a lovely villa well positioned in the heart of the Brunello wine region. The villa is well appointed with many antique pieces, plenty of room for privacy among fellow travelers, and great larger areas to assemble comfortably as well. We enjoyed the pool which is very refreshing after a day of sight-seeing. The highlight of Villa Lorian is Mari who helps guests feel welcomed and assists with any needs. Mari is a wonderful cook and makes your experience at Villa Lorian extra special because of her warmth and guidance for which made our trip even more special! Thank you Mari .... we will miss you!

Das Haus war wunderschön. Die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern liess etwas zu wünschen übrig. Das Geschirr wurde von der Geschirrspülmaschine nicht sauer geputzt - selbst nach 3 intensiven Spülgängen - und der Billardtisch war nicht benutzbar, da der Filz auf dem Tisch Löcher aufweiste. Die Nähe zu Florenz, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants wurde wiederum sehr geschätzt.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] The house was beautiful. The cleanliness in the rooms left something to be desired. The dishes were not cleaned by the dishwasher - even after 3 intensive rinses - and the pool table was not usable, holes in the felt. The proximity to Florence, shopping and restaurants in turn was much appreciated.

Casa Di Vignolo's host was incredibly helpful and accomodating. Irene gave a tour of the town upon our arrival and made sure we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The villa is charming and authentic and sparkling clean. We had a family of five adults and plenty of space. Casa Di Vignolo was one of highlights of our trip through Tuscany. Would definitely stay here again.

This villa is a gem in Tuscany! Beautiful location and a large well equipped villa made our stay memorable. Service from David and Simone was first class. Short drive to town for groceries and wine! Lovely pool, gardens. Large bedrooms and bathrooms. Would love to come back again for a longer stay. Highly recommend this place. It is known as Fignano, at 163 Via Le Colline. Instructions that came with the reservation were missing this info.

We really loved this place. Such a lovely setting and really relaxing. The apartment suited us well (group of 4 women). Early fall was a perfect time to visit, warm enough to swim, but not too hot. The nearby town of San Gimiginano is lovely. The wine and olive tasting were a really nice extra.
