Il Palagio was absolutely beautiful, the apartment we had was spacious, clean and had everything we needed, and we had a huge outside terrace just for us which was amazing. the grounds of the villa are beautiful and the pool was perfect, especially lovely was the outside BBQ and sitting room with rattan sofas and a big wood fire for you to book and use privately. our only slightly negative comments would be that for families with small children this is probably not ideal as the owners ask for people to respect siesta hours by being SILENT from 2-5 (my children don't do silent, especially not on holiday!) and avoid the swimming pool during those hours. As this is the main bulk of the afternoon it's not great for people with hot children wanting to play. Having said that, they seemed to be quite relaxed about the rule and as long as our kids weren't actually screaming we thought it was ok to use the pool during that time a couple of days. The area is stunning, with lots to see and do. Highly recommend this place!
