It is home to over twenty beautiful churches and chapels which display a striking collection of paintings, frescoes and sculptures worth seeing.

Be sure to see the aptly named Villa Magic in Quarrata which was bought by the Medici family in 1583 and transformed into a lavish villa to be used during hunting trips in the area.

It’s included with some other lavish Medici villas as a World Heritage Site.

Visit the two spa towns of Monsummano Terme and Montecatini Terme which have a collection of indoor and outdoor pools which are naturally heated by the volcanic activity occurring deep under the earth here.
