While Milan is the crowned fashion capital of Italy, there are lots of other fashionable cities all around the country and Florence is definitely one of them! Birthplace of brands like Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo and Pucci, it has plenty of fashion clout and remains a great place for shopping.
There are lots of beautiful boutiques and flagship stores located around the city. One of the most interesting and well-curated among them is Guya. If you're after the coolest brands and hottest looks, it's the place to go. Just find a vacation rental in Florence and pop in for a visit!

Guya Firenze was founded by Anna and Luigi in Florence in 1970 and is now run with the help of their two daughters, Benedetta and Guya. It was originally focused on “new, small designers from the local fashion district in Florence” and moved towards international brands in conjunction with local names in the nineties. There are two stores, one for menswear and one for womenswear and their stock is a mixture of innovative and upcoming brands as well as established designer labels.
Current brands that are carried in store include 08 Sircus, Aalto, A.F. Vandevorst, Alessia Xoccato, Anglomania by Vivienne Westwood, AVN, Bernhard Willhelm, Boboutic, Bjorg, Chayalan, Cinzia Araia Collection PRIVEE?, Comme des Garcons, Damir Doma, Dr Martens, Fak by Fak, Gosha Rubchinskiy, Hache, Helmut Lang, Jil Sander, Junya Watanabe, Maison Margiela, OFF-WHITE, Raf Simons x Adidas, Yohji Yamamoto, Y/PROJECT and more!
Chic and cool but with what they describe as an “unpretentious super Italian fun-loud-messy-family-style atmosphere”, it offers a unique shopping experience that is a most for any fashionistas visiting the city! Make sure to pencil in some time to visit and don't forgot to bring your wallet. While many brands are luxury and high-end items, there are some somewhat more affordable brands as well!
