But, if you have found your luxury villa in Florence and are after a seriously bespoke, one-of-a-kind, and utterly unforgettable perfume experience then you should plan a trip to the Aquaflor store...
Located inside a stunning vaulted 15th-century palace, this amazing perfumery is the epitome of elegance and sophistication. With artisanal scents created by the master perfumer Sileno Cheloni, the shops sells a variety of products including organic soaps, body-care products, cosmetics, home fragrances, scented candles, and more.
However, if you’re paying a visit and you are serious about perfume and have a larger budget to work with, then the private workshops are the way to go. There are two options to choose from.
The first of these is the Bar A Parfum, which costs €340 and allows up to two guests to design their own signature scent from a prepared base. Lasting an hour to an hour and a half, this workshop will see a specialist guide you in English or Italian through the selection of heart and top notes to craft your own formula and to make the perfume of your dreams!
The second option is the Private Workshop, which costs €570 per person or €980 for a pair, lasts two to two and a half hours, is also offered in English or Italian, and is a more comprehensive experience. You’ll learn all about the techniques of artistic perfumery and work with an extensive array of raw materials to create your own personal fragrance.
