San Casciano dei Bagni is just 1km away with all of the shops and basic services that you could need for daily requirements. The Fonte Verde spa centre is just 150m away from the house, offering hot springs, a wellness centre, and beauty treatments that are offered at a 25% discount to guests staying at the villa from Monday to Friday. Famous Tuscan towns such as Pienza, Montalcino, San Quirico d’Orcia, Contignano, Bagno Vignoni, Radicofani, and Siena are all within easy day-trip distance away and it is even possible to take a day-trip to Rome from the villa if you are willing to undertake a longer drive.
Of course, between the local spas, the beautiful landscape looking to be explored on foot or by bike or by car, and the wineries and pretty historic towns waiting to be visited, there are plenty of reasons not to go very far at all. In addition to the spa right on your doorstep, there is a restaurant just 1km away that is run by the owners of the villa and where guests can enjoy a 10% discount, chef services to allow guests to sample local flavours right at the villa, the private pool, and more that can be enjoyed during lazy days throughout your vacation in Tuscany at Villa Danilo.
The villa itself is a recently restored gem that has been carefully and tastefully finished to a very high standard, creating the most remarkable elegant country villa on a 3000 square-meter plot with neatly manicured and pretty gardens as well as enchanting views of the famed Tuscan landscape. In addition to the main villa, there is also a sweet little stone outbuilding that has been renovated with all mod-cons to provide additional accommodation with two more bedrooms.
On the ground floor of the main villa there is a large living room with a fireplace, a dining room, a well-equipped and pretty country kitchen (with a gorgeous big range oven with stove top and a regular oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, two sinks and ample counter space, an island, toaster, and coffee machine), a twin bedroom with en suite bathroom (including Jacuzzi bathtub), and a bedroom with a French bed and en suite bathroom. Then, on the first floor, there is a small study/office that is accessible via an external staircase, a double bedroom with en suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub, a twin room with en suite bathroom, and a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom.
Just 50m from the main house is the outbuilding where you will find a double bedroom with en suite bathroom on the ground floor and, on the first floor (accessed by an external staircase) there is a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom, including a Jacuzzi bathtub. Throughout both of the accommodations you can expect WIFI and air-conditioning as well as spacious rooms with high ceilings, lots of natural light, elegant furnishings in muted tones, and a modernised country cottage kind of aesthetic. There is a washing machine and dryer, linens are changed twice a week, and there is a cleaning service (3 hours a day) 6 days a week included in the cost of rental. An extra maid service and babysitting services can also be provided at an extra fee.
