The fair of St. Luke in Impruneta is among one of the oldest livestock fairs in Europe and attracts hundreds of farmers and visitors alike. It takes place on the week around the 18th October. Learn about the cultural traditions and customs of the area and have fun browsing around the many stalls set up here during the fair event.

The ‘Cacio al Fuso’ takes place on the first Sunday of September in Pienza. This town is famous for producing some of the best pecorino cheese in Italy and visitors will get to try all the local samples if they visit during this fascinating festival. The main event during Cacio al Fuso is the exciting cheese rolling competition! Many locals bring their circle of cheese to a street in the town and attempt to roll it within a small target circle marked on the ground.
