House good. Location excellent; 5-10 mins walk into town for shops/restaurants etc but edge of woodland for walks. Bagni di Lucca is nice place and also good location for visits elsewhere -lots to do within an hour's drive.

The villa and grounds were beautiful. We had great weather the entire time. It was a pleasure to have this beautiful place for three weeks. The owners were so helpful and kind and the meals they prepared were glorious. The sunsets helped to put a magical glow to our home in Tuscany. Everything was perfect!

Review Details:
Our family of 6 had a wonderful time at Il Fagetto. The house is spacious, so "Tuscan" and perfectly situated in the heart of Chianti. The owners living next door, Filippo, Marta, Theresa and Zara the dog made sure, in a very discreet way, that everything was going well. The yard, pool and views were outstanding. Il Fagetto met all of our expectations based upon what we saw on the website and we cannot wait to go back.
